Aye, if Rashid doesn't make the breakthrough into the England side on a regular basis, then it's going to be an interesting dilemma for Yorkshire. Do they start producing dry, turning pitches and play two out of Rashid, Rafiq and Wainwright at the expense of someone like Kruis or Hoggard?

The long-term view of things would say develop pitches that will help you win more matches and develop your most promising youngsters at the same time...but on the other hand you need some older, more experienced players to help them develop as well...I'd like to see youth given it's chance as I think it is at more and more counties now, which has to be a good thing for the depth of the CC and for the future England team.

Well he got a mighty 3 when batting so yeah, that will just about swing it...keeping his recent batting form up quite nicely!!

I'm going to Durham tomorrow. Are there any locals here, or people who've been before, who can point me in the right direction for sights to see, places to go, etc.? Because I won't be seeing much in the way of f*cking cricket!
