Quote ="mystic eddie"How typical. English side go out and the media have a field day about decisions that were not awarded.
In regards to the penalties? They were hardly four stone wallers were they? Also, given that Drogba was involved in one then that is (copyright Scousers) justice as far as I am concerned. He is always throwing himself on the deck and cheating for fouls so he can hardly complain when he is not given one when he perhaps should have been.
Barca also won 1-0 on dodgy red card decisions on the night, something which the eternally biased Sky punditry conveniently seemed to gloss over too.
ATEOTD, Barca going through was deserved after Chelski's "anti-football" in the first game when they were just too negative for words. Boring team with half ar$ed fans, most of whom will desert them next season anyway due to the fact that they are not really winning anything of note anymore.
If the reactions at the end were by the Barca players, or, worst still, an Italian outfit, then Sky would be going beserk about how the club were a disgrace and should be kicked out of the competition (next year Chelski fans) for their behaviour. They were an utter disgrace and heaped shame on themselves. Funny it was.
However, I am sure that some people will take comfort in the ref making the odd bad decision. I await the same people flooding message boards/radio phone-in shows next season when they call the ref a disgrace for awarding Chelsea yet another dodgy penalty award. However, that will not happen.
Ha ha ha Chelski, you got what you deserved.
Visca el Barca.'"
As a neutral that supports a Championship team I'd just like to express to you that you know f*ck all and talk utter b*llocks. Trying to get a reaction because you dislike Chelsea shows what a pleb you are.
Chelsea were clearly robbed and I'm sure Mssr Platini's cafe and croissants taste sweet this morning.
Chelsea played great last night and were far more effective than Barca both in defence and going forward. Anti-football I don'tthink so. I bet you as much as you like that United set up to sit back and counter attack a la Chelsea in the final. The fact is there is no team in the world capable of "out footballing" Barca. Chelsea's tactics were a masterclass from Hiddink anf they were robbed by some disgraceful reffing. As Sourness said last night on Sky - if Pique's handball is not a penalty then you are really struggling to ever say what is. Even Pique stopped play if you paid attention. He was shocked when he was allowed to continue.
