Quote ="keithcun"I'm not surprised you're appalled at the way Spurs just capitulated. It's not as if Spurs collapsing against Man U is a rare thing though is it. What was the excuse last time it happened.'"
Would that be in the 2 nil - nil draws weve shared between us this season or the tight FA Cup defeat in which we again lead at Old Trafford ? Or are you just harping back to years ago again ?
Quote ="keithcun"Have a word with yourself, that yesterday wasn't even the worst decision to go against Spurs at OT, I remember a ball going 2 yards over the line not too many moons ago.'"
Hello and welcome to 2 hours ago. Try reading the full thread, I have already gone over the disgrace at OT when Mendes wasn't given the goal that would have given us the 1 nil win.
Quote ="keithcun"And as for not looking like scoring, since when has that had any effect on whether a team goes on to score. Christ, all the top teams have done that this season, "not looked like scoring" then gone on to do that. It's football, not the pools panel.'"
Well, considering Spurs were 2 nil up at the time and just about everybody involved in the game has said that Utd scoring in the second half was what the game hinged on, I'd say the fact Utd didn't look like breaking us down prior to the penalty is hugely important, pivotal even.
Quote ="keithcun"No he didn't. He may have got them a goal or should I say a chance for them to score a goal, but it was down to both teams what happened after that.'"
Don't be so naive. The longer the game stayed at 2 nil, the safer Tottenham were getting. The penalty changed the game and decided the result thereafter.
Quote ="keithcun"It happens, week in, week out. Some you win, some you lose. Jesus, you'd think you were the only team to have ever been wronged by a referee.'"
You really haven't read anything I have posted have you ? The whole issue of the entirety of my posts is the fact it happens every week. I have already gone over how we were robbed at Blackburn when 1 nil up with 10 minutes left in our last away game. It seems to happen at Utd (against Tottenham) a hell of a lot more though.
Quote ="keithcun"And when you say you turned the game off after the penno went in, I don't believe you. I think you should apologise to the rest of the forum for blatant lying'"
Well yet again you would be wrong. The game was turned off when the penalty went in because the outcome was decided once that corrupt moron blew his whistle.
