Seeing as many people are remembering our World Club Challenge wins over the years, I thought it would be good to see people's general memories, good or bad, as a Wigan fan.
I'll start the ball rolling with this:
www.youtube.com/watch?v=YSukUorX ... re=related
I know most will say we didn't win anything that year, but this game will be something I will always remember, I've never seen Wiganers travel in numbers like we did that night. And the game? Step up Mark Calderwood, you beauty! Trent Barrett Warriors back then aswell!

| That bradford game was one special night. Another favourite of mine was the leeds game a couple years ago, when Bailey scored in the last minute

| Wembley 1985 - I will never forget it and despite the Hull come back for some reason I was sure we were going to win.
The last few games at CP as I made sure my then 5 year old son got to see a few games before the old ground disappeared.
Murryfield 2002 as there were three generations of us there that day, my son, my dad and me.
2010 Grand Final - it was great to see my now 16 year old son and now committed Wigan fan so delighted after the barren years since 2002.

| Bradford 2007 is a favourite for the numbers we took and how nuts we went at the full time whistle. Never seen anything like that even at a final!!!
2010 GF was special because we had not won it for 12 years.
2002 Murrayfield!

| Greatest Moment - 27th February 2011 when we beat St George in front of 25,000 Wiganers and Sam Tomkins scored the winning try in the last minute after taking a bomb in his own 10 metre's and running the full length of the pitch.

My youngest arrived 9 months later!
All of the above and does anyone remember the 23-3 against Saints in the 93 CC - sweet. Also have to say that last year was really special - celebrations in the Wigan end for Joel's try at Warrington, final hooter at Saints on Good Friday, the moment Gleeson went in for his second try at OT and the way the players celebrated Farrell's no-try!

| I didn't start watching wigan until around 2000 so missed all the glory of the 80's and 90's so for me its the last 10 or so years, which despite not as much success trophy wise have still seen some great moments.
Bradford in 2007 was immense and ill never forget how crazy it was when richards slotted over that drop goal. I don't think i've ever been so excited at a rugby match. When carney scored "that" try at leeds in 2003 at leeds in the playoffs was also a great moment. Watching us lift the sl last year was also great to see but like i said, just for sheer excitment and disbelief i think the bradford game would be the winner.

| 1.Manly – just for the sheer atmosphere and magnitude of the game. Watched this back a couple of months ago, and anyone who says the Aussies don’t care about this game are completely incorrect.
2. 27-0 - enough said.
3. GF 2010 – the re-emergence of the sleeping giant?
Brisbane is probably our greatest achievement, but alas I didn’t go.

| Manly 1987 has to be my all time favourite especially given that only a few years earlier the Wigan club was at its lowest level ever in Division 2!. The resurgence to 2010 and maybe 2011 as WCC winners following the near disaster in 2007 feels very similar.
However, I also remember, as a 9 year old with my Dad, watching Wigan beating the Australian national touring side at Central Park in Oct 1967. What a night that was! The kop end was a sea of cherry and white flags wihch I guess was a result of fans accumulating them during a decade of trips to Wembley. Sadly my Dad died two years before I was able to share the Manly moment with him and so 1968 was special. Little did I know at the time that Wigan were about to enter a decade of decline resulting in relagation and that it would be the last major moment in Wigan's history that I would share with my dad. The moral of the story is, enjoy the good moments when come along as though its your last.

| my favourite moment has to be that comeback at bradford in 2007, i didn't actually go to the game but i have great memories of watching this with my grandad in his living room, jumping up and down like right mad heads when richards knocked that drop goal over!

I'd have to agree with that, all I remember from the end of it is going absolutely ape $hit when Hape knocked on. For me, that was one of the first 'I was there' games I went to.

Manly 1987, again making history.
Wembley 1989 v St Helens, does it get better than 'nilling' Saints at Wembley.
Grand Final 1998 v Leeds, first winner's yet again.
Grand Final 2010 v St Helens, a day I'll never forget.

| 1983 JPS Final -couldn't believe we'd actually won something,( i started to watch Wigan when they was in the 2nd div)
1984 York c.c semi - had sleepless nights the week leading upto it i was only 15 at the time, felt sick before the game but the elation knowing that we was going to wembley was something that i will never forget.
1985 Hull cc final - Unbelievable day
1987 Manly - got on the ground at 4pm and there were 20,000 on then, still is the best atmosphere i've ever been in, the hairs are standing up even now as i think about it.
1989 Saints cc final - nothing needs ot be said about this, the greatest and most satisfying day ever.
There have been lots more since then but the above are my top five and sum up for me just exactly what it means to support the mighty Wigan
