To be fair I had spoken to a few of the coaches and junior players and it seemed nailed on he was on his way to Wigan given his relationship breakdown with certain people within the Hudds club.

The only name in the prop department we've been linked with who is still available would be Ryan Boyle of Cas, will be interesting to see where he ends up now.

Apparently, Cas' are training to sign Paul Jackson from Huddersfield.

Could be to replace Ryan Boyle.

Read on the Cas board that Boyle will be going to Salford.

I can't see that he'd be any better then O'Carroll or Mossop anyway.

If we're to sign anybody it must be a prop that got abit of experience about him and will just drive us forward.

IMO it'd be pointless signing abit of a 'project' style signing who you 'hope' will be a good player in 2 or 3 years.........we have enough of them already.

Were going the right way in terms of using homegrown or English players when it comes to our pack. We have got a pretty good set of forwards and next season there might only be 2 overseas players in the pack with Feka and Riddell (assuming Bailey leaves).

We have more than enough good young Props we need a lad in his mid 20's at his youngest with experience and go forward, not another lad making his way in the game.

A good young player but not what we need, i do not see how we would be able to bring 3 other junior Props through and James, would not be gutted if we singed him, but he does seem to have lost his way a little and would be too old for the u-20's next year so would have to go out on a loan.

Can't see it happening in short.

I really can't see our team changing next season, annoying as it may be we can't do anything about, I just hope IFL has someone lined up.

TBH I have no expectation of signings anymore. Mr Chairman has a new approach in terms of developing youngsters and that is fine. We will see what happens.

bit pointless even having a rumours thread till the end of next season. We know now that any rumour that appears linking us to players will be just a rumour. IL has already stated this that we almost certainly won't be signing anyone.

3 Years past his best, struggling in Premier League with North Sydney Bears and is considering retirement and heading back to NZ to coach in the juniors, so i wouldn't be surprised if Wigan try to sign him.

Even after what he said(which was that we 'probably' won't sign anybody) i'd still be more suprised if we start next season with no new signings at all.

I think we'll bring in 1 or possibly 2.

But will they be Nobles signings or not, that is the big question

No signings are made at Wigan without Brian Noble either instigating them or agreeing to them. He has a veto on all potential new signings.
