Basically, this. The same reason for club rivalries. Why can I not stand Saints with a passion? They don't do much wrong save the odd player that everyteam have that wind up the opposition. I've essentially been raised a Wigan and to strongly dislike Saints. I've noticed most of the neutrals I've spoken to or people who are very new to the sport don't have this empassioned dislike. Most sports have a team who dominated for a good number of years and unless they drop off the map - as Wigan haven't - they tend to be strongly disliked. Dallas Cowboys, Real Madrid, Man Utd, The Yankees.

Not the end of the world , he is nowhere near ready yet , two solid weeks training will do him no harm at all , hopefully will see the benefit in the next month or so , I am sure he is going to be a hit with the fans ( no pun intended )
