can you explain how this makes me an idiot,ive never seen a post by the guy moaning about away fans sitting with home fans before.you lose then a post like this comes up,main aim of my post was no one had posted on our forum about wigan fans in north stand when we lost to you.granted every club as some retard fans always going to be the case.i was sat in east stand ES6,most of banter was enjoyable,i could make a case against the muppet sat right behind me who thought it was good to lean forward screaming y warrington right in my ear,no i just turned round and smiled,if that made him feel good fine.point of my post is rugby league is different that wendyball and rugby fans can on the whole sit safely anywhere in any ground.anyway as ive said elsehwere thanks for a good night with the wigan fans i was sat with

Why do some people think because we lost thats the reason i wrote this post. It is NOT! In the main away fans in home sections isn't a problem at all take Quins fans sat directly in front of us this season with their 6 away fans LOL great banter and some great fans especially the chap with one arm really funny fella. I'm on about the away fans who get tanked up and start getting wound up and more and more irate its a recipe for trouble, if these so called fans are real fans they would be sat with their own supporters and that goes for our own fans at away games as well.

While you may not have enjoyed the behaviour of the fans. The ability to mix with supporters of different teams and engage in banter is one of the things i enjoy about RL.

Its something denied football fans and results in them being far more tribal and therefore violent.

well agree with some of this,but if the fans you say are being a pain why not report them to a steward,also for some its a case of how you want to view the game,ive never liked to watch from behind the sticks,always prefer to be on the side.i guess its just a mateer of luck with who you are sat with most of time for me its good occasionally you get the retards unfortunatley even they are allowed their day/night out

The East and West Stand's will continue to offer reserved seating, while the South Stand will be unreserved seating. The North Stand is for visiting supporters.

if the above is true the Nortyh stand should not be closed for any game, as every club brings away support.

the north stand shouldn't be shut for any game but then no away end in any stadium should be shut

so it proves there are no away end as if they close it where do the opposing fans go? People can sit where they like

I was sat in section ES2, and whilst I saw some wire fans near us, i didnt see anyone being abusive or idiotic.

I think this post is a bit draconian in terms of the actual situation, as many of the previous posters have stated - in Rugby League we do NOT have official segregation at most matches.

Last night I alike a good number of Warrington fans were privileged enough to be in the West Stand Hospitality, and pre, during and post match there was nothing more than fantastic good-natured banter.

It's a shame that you are less willing to have a friendly interaction with opposition fans but many clubs (Warrington included) provide a number of seats for fans who do not wish to sit/stand behind the sticks.

Nothing wrong with mixing fans. If you want segregation, go and watch football.

if that is the case then YOUR club has a responsibility to take care of the situation. If fans are causing problems due to alcohol etc then your club has the right to kick 'em out.

From your own clubs website and so important they put it in bold. Dont whinge at the fans who like a bit of banter/go with their mates who support the other team/ buy the tickets directly from your own club.......whinge at the club!

For once, I find myself in total agreement with TCM.

There were a few Wire fans sat in front of me in the West and they were ok bar one of them who was a . He kept having a go at Wigan fans around him and he was intent on causing trouble from where i was looking. 90% of the away fans that sit in home ends are usually spot on and good for a laugh but theres always the exception. If what the OP said was true i.e they were singing anti Wigan songs and the like then clearly they were looking for a reaction which eventually will lead to it kicking off and therefore ruining it for everybody. I agree we need to keep the fans mixing because it is usually brilliant but when any away fans are baiting home fans in the home end thats where the line should be drawn imo.

I like it that opposition fans can mix. It's horrible at soccer matches. However, I'm still mad at the ref. I'm even still mad at the ref at the Leeds' cup tie.

totally agree with this. what with throwing things such as boxes of sweets at players on the pitch and the like, it really needs to be stopped

Home/away fans should be allowed to sit/stand where they like this is the problem when clubs move grounds.

fans should be able to sit anywhere in the ground. Wire beat us fair and square and they have every right to get drunk, celebrate and sing their songs like Wigan fans did at the HJ.

The problem will be if and its a big if any violence or threating behaviour happens i saw none on Friday

RL is a special sport famed for its fans and the ability for banter lets keep it that way

wigan fans make me laugh u got a new coach won a few games top of the league you think your amazing i cant wait till play off when u come up against leeds saints u will not stand a chance

Tbh I dont see what the problem is with away fans sitting in home areas, unless they are acting like idiots. Ive stood in the home areas at Bradford many times as my mate is a Bulls supporter (plus its a better view on the side) and dont really see why thats ever a problem.
