Nice comeback though, much respect. Point stands though, usually a little disappointed with Wigan's turnout at KR. Always seems quite a lot less than we take to DW.

Then again, it's less of an appealing place to visit I suppose . . . .

It also wasnt appealing going your place knowing what was going to happen..this is wires biggest league game in SL era for them. its fully expected a big turn out

I'd say our support at Knowsley Road is normally around the 4,000 mark.

Not great but not bad either and it's no exactly a family friendly stadium. I'm 6ft 3 and can have problems seeing the pitch at times from the back of the stand

I bought 5 tickets today, 3 of my mates are coming who havent been to a game before, so hopefully will be a classic! I bought them from the Saints website so I guess they are just for any part of the ground?

Also which is the nearest station as I want to get the train up and have a drink, is it St Helens Central and how far is it from the ground?

Just check trains and as its Good Friday there's no chance of gettina cheap train. Looks like I'll be driving!

Knowsley Road is a good 20-30 minutes walk from the St Helens Central train station anyway. Think Thatto Heath is nearer but I've never gone via that station.

It's been a fantastic place to go over the years with the atmosphere and the memories. It'll be sad to see the back of Knowsley road even if it is a total dump.

Finally got mine today, picking them up at the Leeds game next Friday. Yeeeehhaaa bring it on!!

Much of a muchness in terms of distance from the ground. Good thing about St Helens Central is that it's right next to the bus station.

Was a bit of a que when I went picking mine up on Monday. So far I think weve been allocated 3.5K, have we managed to sell these yet? Or have we been given another batch as there seemed to be a fair pile of them near the counters? With the amount of fans that have picked their up from Stains i'd have hoped for around 5K Wigan fans there, what with the chance of eternal bragging rights on offer.
