People may or may not of gotten the irony of your post, but we still don't know what you have against Goulding. You seemed to have avoided that issue.

He hasn't mentioned Goulding. Im the one who doesn't rate Goulding, and when I have time to explain why seeing as im in work, I will do, however I have more important things to do than explain myself to the almighty Wigan Peer.

I dont know why people get so uptight about Goulding, its an oponion, I simply dont rate him as a centre, whether people think he's had a good year or not, I think he's a flat footed defender that doesn't pose a huge threat in attack. Josh Charnley scores a hell of a lot of solo tries because of his step and pace, he has the ability to beat defenders and do things off the cuff, the fact he's scored 37 isn't all down to Goulding, far from it. Martin Offiah played outside a hell of a lot of different centre's but still managed to score tries outside all of them. Dont get upset though people, its just MY opinion.

When Goulding scored tries for fun on the wing according to you none were down to him, they were all walk ins and it was all down to his centre even though the stats showed that Gleeson set up hardly any. Goulding then plays centre and his winger is SL leading try scorer and the stats say that Goulding has 15 try assists, which is the most in Super League for a centre and almost 4 times more than Gleeson set up when Goulding was his wing, and they were all down to Charnley scoring 'a hell of a lot of solo tries' and nothing to do with Goulding. The bitterness and jealousy is strong in this one

And read my post again please, when did I say "nothing to do with Goulding"........ I said not all down to Goulding. He's had decent year, yes, but I still dont rate him and he hasn't really done anything outstanding to change my mind.

He has played far better this season than Gleeson ever did at Wigan. There is no way you can say Gleeson was sensational and made his winger look good and then say the opposite with regards to Goulding/Charnley.

Hang on a minute, at one point did I ever mention Martin Gleeson's name in this thread? Stop making things up to support your arguement.

If you want to make comparisons with Gleeson and Goulding thats fine, there's only one winner, literally twice the centre Darrell Goulding will ever be. To suggest anything otherwise would be both ridiculous and quite embarrassing.

I am not making things up, you have said this previously about Gleeson giving Goulding walk in tries that anyone could score and Goulding contributing nothing or do you deny it? If you said that about Gleeson and Goulding when they were a centre/wing combination it seems strange taking the complete opposite view when it is Goulding/Charnley, even though the stats indicate the opposite of what you are trying to argue. The only common thying in it all is that you are always anti Goulding, I wonder why?

Your second comment isn't worthy of a proper response, you obviously have got a very poor memory, Gleeson was outstanding in 2010 and played a HUGE part in us winning the GF.

I never said you did on this thread, I said previously. As you didnt deny it I presume you know you did. You seem to be good at avoiding any sort of debate and all your arguments seem to be of the "Erm, because I dont rate him as a centre" variety without backing it up. You said he was awful in the semi, when he wasnt at all as Bilko's MOM poll showed. You said he has never had a good game in a big game, I named several this season where he has played well which you also ignored. You make wishy washy statements based on your opinion, like they are fact, and when people respond or give facts you conveniently ignore them.

As I asked why if you thought previously that Gleeson with 4 try assists was responsible for Goulding scoring so many 'walk in' tries in 2010 and Goulding wasnt responsible for any of these tries then how when Goulding has 15 try assists is he not having a hand in setting up a good portion of Charnleys. I can certainly remember Goulding doing some special things to set up tries this season, tries that werent on otherwise. I really dont see how when Goulding is on the wing you argue he only plays well because of his centre and that anyone would have scored those tries when he is centre it is all because of his winger scoring tries individually. Setting up more tries than any other centre in Super League and your winger being the leading try scorer is certainly pretty good going for any centre, indeed many would argue it is one of the main criteria when judging a centre.
