The one game I'd single out for Wire is Hull (obviously), but for the time they play them rather than Hull's league position.

I would love us to do them at KR though in there last ever season it would be perfect.

Hull game is the toughest one on paper just have to wait and see but this season has been great am loving it.

I know it's been said before but as much as Wigan and Wire fans seem to loathe each other it is nice to have 2 new teams, and local ones at that, at the top of SL.

Should leeds win it though they will prob deserve to after haveing to beat the top 4 in the process! Which is an achievement!! Plus it will be nice for Leeds to win it as its been a while considering their dominating sides of the last decade!!! And if Leeds to win it they wont be gloating as mentioned by quite a few of their fans before the quarters they dont class the CC in high regard and its only really a day out at Wembley!! Dominance is cyclical, and Leeds and Saints have had it their own way for a while now.

True but the "older heads" are getting in there prime and still hungry we also have a good spine of the likes of Myler, Harrison, Louis Anderson, Riley, Bridge and Atkins all with plenty of time on there side, along with the U20s and U18s which are going well the U18s had a good few 16yo lads in it the other day with a certain Ben Currie getting 2 tries

Not really,just stating the obvious. Wigan have excelled at the short game to reach more cup finals than any one has in the past or will in the future,cups are good but as stated,win 5 or 6 and you get a pot,smashin. The league on the other hand is where you have to win a couple of dozen games over several months to get a serious pot and then gain the opportunity to go and top it with another GF pot. All Im stating is the CC cant be compared in prestige to the League or GF. Dire have done OK over the last few seasons but their obnoxious fans should wind their necks in a little bit. "Were not wa*ky anymore" 1 pot and a final to come in 20 odd years hardly puts you in the record books so I think on the basis of scum fans and lofty illusions of grandeur and classing yourselves as "a big club" in my book,leaves you as still "wa*ky warrington"

I wouldn't knock the CC, I wouldn't give it any less prestige than the GF. For me the league is the main one, that shows the true class and consistency to get up for games, week after week, month after month, different ground after different ground. It would feel hollow to win the GF without finishing top. It would be a 'hollow championship' IMO. I'm so glad we can attack the GF from 1st. If we won it, it would feel genuine.

Wire are in the final,and like you lot like to point out,some wire fans do like to go on about it.Wouldnt you if Wigan hadnt bought all they success from years gone by.The quality of rugby played by both clubs should be appaulded by both sets of fans.Even if some say your style is more like wrestling,if it wins you games then so be it.Tbh i would love it if we both get to the GF because i know if wire win you lot are going to have the mickey taken out of you for weeks,and am sure if you win your fans will do the same.

In fact, it was different. We have rehed these arguments, many, many times, so somewhat redundant to raise them again. However, in the decade 1985-1995 or thereabouts Wigan were the only full-time pro team and resorted to anything to cajole, steal, unsettle, persuade, co-erce, and many other verbs, the best players from all other clubs to join them. It was nearly the ruin of the sport and even bankrupted the Pies twice. That's a bit different from other teams signing a few players in search of success.
