| Watching Pryce's interview on the site you can see in his body language that he's very much a confidence player. Even though he's played reasonably well over the last few weeks his demeanor during the interview is that of someone who's not to sure about themselves.
Still it's nice to see him playing, and playing well.

I think he's just naturally quite subdued and laconic, some people are. Confidence will come into it to, but he's never going to be the life and soul of the party, and frankly it doesn't really matter.
It's great to see him playing, doing well, and improving all the time, because he offers things to the team that very few players in SL can offer.

Stop talking sense, it doesn't fit too well on here.

| Admittidly I couldn't make the game today so I don't know if his tries were walk ins or if he had to pull something out of the bag to score them but, I still think he is worse than . I think it's just his style / lazy work ethic that puts me off.

His first 3 were walk ins but he had to work hard for his 4th. And he came inside and ran the ball up plenty times, this lazy work ethic is just a myth because people just want to moan about something. His defence is superb and he has scored 8 trys in what 3 games? If this was Ainscough people wouldnt be able to reach past their erections to make a comment on it.

=#FF0040His style, and your perception of 'lazy work ethic' - Ask yourself seriously for a minute, would Michael Maguire and Shaun Wane (2 guys who have tremendous work ethics themselves, and who demonstrate they don't settle for players not doing what's required) keep picking him if your perception was the actual reality of the situation?
How about either just cutting the lad some slack, or if you're not a big enough man to do that, then just stop posting about him at all?

Every player is different and if Pryce is doing everything Madge asks of him then it should really end the myth that he's lazy!
When will people start to give him credit?

| If Pryce was lazy he wouldn't be in the team.
We now all know how MM and SW work, step out of line and you're out!
As Gleeson found out!
If you don't play as required, again you're out!
Pryce must be doing what is required of him.
The team worked well for his first three and his fourth was all down to him!
His defence is good and his try scoring record means we are not missing Pat on the left wing! He is also coming in with a few runs from dh as Goulding does.
Pryce is playing very well and I hope he continues to improve as he has been doing.

spot on! iv been a critic of pryce in the past, but the last few weeks he has shown signs of what he can do and he deserves to be praised for his performances!
i think that whatever he does from now on he's never gonna win over some folk on here.

| I'm pleased that Pryce is playing well and scoring trys but now that he has scored 4 in one game surely it is time he was dropped.
What might save him though is his last "try" was 6" short so might not count.
Wait a sec, new management, so forget above. Phew.

Would those be the walk in trys that a winger can't score if he was in the middle 'looking for work' to counter a few peoples views that he is 'lazy' ?

Agreed Ted, what is concerning is tries conceeded on Gouldings wing.
I also thought he was in touch for his 4th try but we will have the points thanks, these officials are useless without a video ref.

| we all know what we expect from a winger.
Pryce is doing what is needed. out of all gouldings trys this season, i have to say about 80% of them were walk ins. maybe even more. BUT Pryce has been much better in defence in the matches they have played together, you could argue that goulding played with marsh inside him twice, but then again, last week it looked to be that goulding was the one creating the problems for marsh.
any way, last time i checked, a walk in was worth the same as a great try. and with players like carmont and gleeson inside the wingers, they are going to get a large amount of walk ins, and other players like lockers, joel and sam who will also make defenders chose to come in and leave their men.
the player i think should be most worried is goulding, because roberts will be back soon, and he will be wanting either a wingers shirt or FB shirt pretty soon. and Pryce is outplaying goulding, and he is really only in the first few games of a very long time out of the sport (at this level) so will only go on to get better.

Very true so at the end of the day lets herby declare scorng "walk ins" not a stick to beat a winger up with whether his name is Goulding, Ainscough or Pryce? Likewise it's also got to be about having a bit more about you as a winger to be considered really good than just scoring lots of walk-ins?
On those scores I think all the three mentioned have had their fair share of walk ins but what about the hard to score tires?
Pryce did well today for his 4th and it isn't his fault he was short and it got given but despite that and despite the fact he did go inside looking for work I don't think he was particularly effective. Then again after the first 20 mins neither was the rest of the team but Pryce doesn't seem to play to his size.

If I'm honest he did look in touch to me. I don't want to take anything away from him though he's doing a good job for us at the moment.

Pryce has come in and everyone (including me) was like oh no! But he's doing a good job for us and is poses a difficult question, who drops out for amos?

| I agree. Its gonna be a tough call to drop someone who has scored 2 tries in every appearance he has made this season, surely thats all you ask a winger to do?

Not everyone.
He's doing o.k.
What no-one seems to have picked up on, is that although he has scored eight tries, there has only been one scored against him (at Huddersfield last week) and that wasn't really his fault.
I also think that he did get that ball down before going into touch for his fourth try, I was directly in line with the touchline, close call but a try for me.
