Great idea, IMO if we are using those 3 for the 80's then Dean Bell is a must for the 90's, his contribution as a captain and leader is beyond doubt. If it is decided to go ahead with this idea it may have to go to a vote as too who would be represented for this era, or Chris will have to decide !! ............good luck Chris !!!!!!!

I for one would like to see Graeme West included, he was one of the main guys in our re-emergence from the dark years to guiding us to the 'Grand Slam' - World Club Challenge, league Championship, Challenge Cup, Regal Trophy & Premiership

I've said before that imo Graeme West's contribution to Wigan RL both on and off the field made a massive difference to it's history.

The only reason I mentioned Edwards/Hanley/Gregory was because of the "Golden triangle" quote that was used about them. If one of those 3 were to drop then I would argue it would be Edwards & Use him in the 90's?

Well imo West contributed more to Wigan RL than Gregory.

Not to say Greg didn't do a lot, but he came into a team that was already filled with stars and used to winning.

West came in when all the work still needed to be done.

Being too young at the time to appreciate the impact West had on the club i have often asked people that watched Wigan during this period which player really set Wigan on the path that led us to dominating the game.

West is mentioned time and again as the key signing that changed everything at Wigan.

Would we have even seen the 'golden triangle' without West? certanly debatable.

Players like Farrell and Radlinski should have a flag hung from that gantry.

Im sure the flag group will grow and be able to afford these.

He would be the ideal man to do what Shaun Wane did pre match last season i.e announce the teams in the match day lounges and interview the players not playing in that particular game.
