Maybe you guys could do the same for us if it ends up being us and them in the semis at Langtree Park? You know there won't be many wolfs fans going to that, and we know you would always support us over the Saints, there's no way you'd fear facing us more than them in the final...

I never went to that game and I always understood it as just being the fans that got behind les cats.
I can't quite believe that the club actually got behind and sanctioned it.
I bet the Catalans players were wondering what the blo0dy hell was going on.
Can you imagine any other RL team doing that?
It absolutely reeks of small time. I would be absolutely mortified if Wigan decided to do something like that.

I just wonder where the 'gratitude for Perpignan' applied when all those hundreds of Wire fans - including dads, mum, grandads etc - were crowded onto the bridges over the main road afterwards to jeer us as we went home.
What a bunch of phonies. Gratitude for Perpignan! Did it really take them five years to think up that excuse?

It is genuinely cringe worthy
Dont get me wrong, i like the Dragons and normally like to see them win any televised games against the majority of SL teams.
But
I ain't going to fork out ÂŁ50 quid for a shirt, ÂŁ20 quid for a ticket and a tenner on Scarves, facepaint ( ) and flags. All to indulge in my small fry bias against another club.
Wire baiting aside. I am quite embarrassed reading that article.
Its up there with the Shudds fans waving a "well done Wolfs" flag a few years back.
They can paint it up however they like. The reality is that these small time entities feel so inadequate that they have to join forces to try and match the might of Leeds, Saints, Bradford, Hull and us.
I feel quite sorry for them.

It's no wonder there are lots of threads about the Wolfs. The big story of Week One of the play offs was the pummelling Saints gave them at home. Add to that the fact that the Wolfs on these boards have been telling everyone how brilliant they are. And the fact that some Wigan fans have been agreeing with them, writing off Wigan's chances. It's newsworthy and amusing. That's why people are talking about it rather than the relatively routine (but impressive) win by Wigan at the DW.

I know. Despite all the hard words from your fans on here, Ian Lenegan and Shaun Wane know full well that Warrington are the team Wigan are scared of and they will do everything they can to avoid playing us.
Really the best chance Wigan have of beating us is in a semi final, our bootys will be twitching because its the stage we went out last year, and also after losing last week we will still be rocking a bit confidence wise even if we beat Hull.
Obviously that's gonna be the case if we play Saints too but you are potentially giving Saints an easier ride to the final especially if you choose Leeds in ClubCall. If we do beat Saints our confidence will be back and there will be nowhere for you to run any more.

Yeah but there will be a mass panic in pie land when the Wire emerge like Terminator from the flames, after you thought you'd sent us to our deaths but we've come out alive in the mood for vengeance and are relentlessly approaching you with nowhere for you to hide.

You may have a point but financial priorities would cause SW & IL to look at things differently I feel. Anyway not many would give us a chance in the GF if we played Wire so the loss would be easier to bear than to lose to the numero uno enemy. So I feel its thanks for the advice, but no thanks we’ll hope to take our chances later.

One game at a time, Sally. You haven't even made the semi-final yet. We may not even have to avoid you. Let's cross that bridge when we come to it, eh?

Mass panic! The only mass panic at the minute I feel would be somewhere around the Winwick road, and as for that wiry Terminator, well Sarah Connor in the shape of the Saints may still put those fiery embers out for once and for all this time.

Some clubs actually have a good rapport with other clubs. Catalan like Warrington and there fans, hence why we are asked to go to Barcelona to play on the road games.

Who are you trying to convince? Us or yourself?
Personally I think we will choose Leeds/Hull/Cat in the Semi. Out of the teams that remain Leeds are the one I am most wary about. They have the big game pedigree and are quite capable of raising their game when then need to.
I would rather play them in the Semi than the Final.
However, one thing I would say is that I genuinely believe that any 1 of the teams that are playing this weekend can win their game.
Wolfs- Perennial bottlers.
Hull- See above (though I do think the Wolfs will scrape it)
Cats at home are tough
Leeds have the experience and are a champion side.
Going to be good to watch.
