There are a couple involved in the flag thing who use our coaches. Would it be worth collecting them all and taking them on the coach there and back all together?
We always go early to go for a drink or three so people could meet up and collect their flags ~ or are most people only having them at home games?

Its going to be a mixture really, if there is a facility to hang them at an away ground, then, I dont know about anyone else but all mine and Chris' flags will be going.

A flag with 6 stars is needed, that is the ultimate achievement now the WCC is a glorified friendly. The rarity of it makes is more special, where as the WCC is won by someone every season.

It'd be good to have one along the lines of someone's sig on here (apologies to whoever it is, the name escapes me atm)

Personally I don't think having bad language on the flags is a good idea really. And I think its better to focus on our team rather than saints. Mentioning the 75-0 is a poor idea IMO.

While I'm on things not to do as well. I think we should always stick to flags that will not go out of date.

I rekon a flag saying '1989' then an image of the cup saying '27-0' underneath.

And remember that 1989 wasn't the first time we 'nilled' a team at Wembley, we beat Barrow 10-0 in 1951, oddly 3 finals in a row, 1949,1950 and 1951 the losing team all got 'nilled'.

Personally I just hope we are not going to end up with a load of flags from that one late 80s early 90s era. I know its the era of a lot of people on here but our great history is much, much, much more than that.

Good I say. I am one who hopes there will be a flag like that boston, mctigue, ashton one for each era but nowt do with me, just an opinion.
