I 100% agree with you, but imo signing willie mason would give us all the knob, with non of the great player.

Personally I don't rate him, no doubt he's a big mean bar steward, but he's never really made me jump out of my seat while he's been playing.

The violent nature of the game means that to be a top level player you must have to be psychologically different to most other people.

How many props realistically do tho? Feka gets me off my seat when he barn storms in as does Moi Moi but other than that I can’t say I’ve ever thought wow with a prop in the same way as I have with Inglis, Slater or Hayne and some of the plays they make.

I want my props to run hard and enforce themselves on the game and the opposition. Mason is a master at this and has a knack of winding the opposition players up to the point were they go off their own game (Fielden anyone?)

If you put Mason in this team we’d over take Saints in the title odds imo.

Plus I’d love to see him go toe to toe with Peacock again.
