Bullock and Harrison were very good early season, very impressed with both. Bullock was very good for us all of last season too. Mikaele has gone home obviously and he was an excellent foil for Vaughan, Catalans numbered up on Vaughan and he can be easily contained with no other rampaging forwards. Philbin is also a loss. Dudson is the only one missing who is a 'plodder' and wouldn't be in the 17.

With who you have missing too it'll be a very interesting game.

I for one would like to see 2 full strength teams slogging it out on. Friday. That clearly isn’t going to happen. Our 13 will still be reasonably strong (depending on Dufty). Walker is an able deputy for Clark BUT despite what some may think Harrison, Bullock and Philbin are big losses.
Still think it should be a cracker on Friday, too close to call in my view (but A Wire win!).

Cooper Field Cust injured, Smithies suspended, Cust was getting some stick for his performance so far and there were plenty who'd have dropped him anyway but to be fair to him it turned out he'd been playing with a bulging disc in his back so a bit of credit for trying to play through that

As we know RL isn't played on paper, but looking at the respective squads, we should be comfortably better in the forwards.

It would be really telling regards their thoughts on Mago for the rest of this season if Harvie Hill gets picked ahead of him. I’d be extremely tempted to go with Hill myself, especially when you consider Wire will have a Young forward or two on their bench.

I’d go with that 17 but I think Mago will be given a chance to redeem himself. Hopefully there are no injuries in the named squad.

Looks like a chance for Hill or Nsemba then if that’s the case. I don’t get Mago’s general attitude, both in games and what is clearly a lax attitude to getting fitter. He’s got no deal after this season and I can’t see Aussie clubs lining up to get him. It could be career end game. In a way I actually admire him for not taking us for a ride, by pulling his tripe out to get a new deal and then downing tools next season (Tautai being a case in point).

Apparently it's Singleton/Byrne to start up against Vaughan/Kasiano. Starting with Singleton and Byrne always makes me shudder but could be particularly tough tonight. If we can get to the interchanges within a score I'd be more than happy.
