Haven't been on there in years, but that must have been in one of their politer moments It was amazing how they allowed two or three malcontents to set the entire tone of the forum.

I'm guessing he's referring to the likes of CPWigan and Wigan Watcher etc.

And a couple of others, but basically them, yeah. While many of the rest were quick to become followers.

I was never a follower of any of them but apologize if my anti Lockers obsession back then spoiled it for you or others, I saw the error of my ways

I must admit, I don't remember seeing your name among the main offenders. But there were some on there who were so relentlessly hostile to the club that they could only have been trolls or Latics fifth columnists.

It's the "quick to condemn, slow to praise" attitude of some on here that gets relentlessly depressing.

Tbf I don't think you were ever in the same category as some of the ones Cruncher is referring to. Differences of opinion are one thing. It's the unrelenting negativity that sucks the joy out of posting. I've never seen what people get out if it personally but I guess it takes all sorts.

Now that you’ve mentioned he is a teacher I think I know who you mean. I came out of the FB forums because of his constant bile!

He was a prat of the first order, but he wouldn't have been able to poison the other forum like he did if lots of sheep hadn't gone along with him.

He even tried to do it with this one, and caused quite a bit of disruption before he was given the heave-ho.

I know Rogues posts there under a different name which I know (not implying it's made any secret of), but as for other posters, I don't know.

There are certainly a couple of candidates I could name, but ultimately it's never worth the effort.

Well, I don't think i or anyone else has a *right* to know; as far as I can see, people are entitled to post where they want under whatever username they want; I'm not implying there's anything wrong or underhand in that.
