Thought Hampshire was outstanding, Burgess had to be favorite for the wing spot. Hopkins and Bateman showed up well as did Crosby.

Sarginsson really impressed me. I have my doubts but if he shows up like that he will be an asset for us. He will push Thornley (who has cultivated done mass in the offseason) for a spot in the centre.

I can watch the full match on Leigh TV in a couple of days,because i couldn't get to the game today i signed up for a month to watch it live.

I thought leigh only got back into it after bateman went off and hampshire went into the halves.

Think you were right cheers, it was very confusing with them usind a combination of squad numbers and positional numbers. Better to just use 1-21 next time methinks. I had a good day though, Sarginson and Burgess laid very strong claims for the 4 and 5 spots. Tierney was worrying at FB, hope it doesn't knock his confidence too much, I've always thought it's an incredibly tough position for a youngster

The only family members i have left over there from Wigan are my uncle and auntie, Brian moss you may know him as its such a small island. Yeah well fortunately or unfortunately how ever you look at it i was born in jersey but brought up most of my life in Wigan and half my family is from Wigan.

20 years is a long time to live on that Rock! I do miss it occasionally.

Some of the WCC games have started going online. Minor issue - they're mainly the ones we lost, hopefully they'll put the wins on soon!

I was expecting more behind the scenes stuff from down under tbh. To say its such a big trip that most people won't be able to attend I thought they'd be all over it.

They seem to have gone pretty slack with uploading highlights on time again, no sign of any 15 or 40 minute highlights for any games since Bradford on Easter Monday. And it looks like they had been forgetting to upload the full games and uploaded Bradford, Saints, London, Hunslet and Dewsbury games earlier this week.

Wigan TV is so frustrating, if they ran it properly it would be excellent but it just seems like a complete half ar£ed effort tbh.

It's very much a token effort at the moment in my opinion. Kelly O'Donnell has left, not sure if they are replacing her or not, and I think the service could have been well improved before her departure so I'm really not sure whats happening now. As a subscriber their isn't proving to be much in it for me at all this year.

Getting very frustrated with this service, can't see me renewing again. Which makes me angry because it had soooooooo much potential.

A tv crew from SKY (fronted by Angela Powers) followed the club from the breakfast at Rigelettos to returning home, should be aired soon.

I've subscribed pretty much since day one and have contemplated cancelling several times, the only reason I haven't is because it's cheap, and I've thought it's worth perservering with because it COULD be an excellent service. I do the 3 monthly £9.99 DD but even so the content is pretty shoddy.They really need to add commentay to the highlights videos, whether they pair up with your Wish FM commentary, or Radio Manc, or have a dedicated Wigan TV commentator, the current videos look very amateurish IMO with the only audio being the ref and crowd. Other than the highlights, most of the interviews are just what used to be on the homepage for free, the press conferences are extremely poor quality - you can barely here what questions SW has been asked, the preview and review shows with past players never really materialised and most of the archive games can be found elsewhere on the internet.

Don't Latics do something similar to this (ignore me if I'm wrong - won't be the first time)?

Why don't they pool resources & make something approaching a professional stab at it?

2,000 subscribers = £70,000 per year income. No surprise that it hasn't been as good as some were hoping if they are running it to that budget. That said, there's no excuse for not getting match highlights online within the stated deadlines. There should be contingency plans in place to make sure that in any eventuality someone can edit the footage into highlights and get it online
