Chase's running game would compliment Smith's game. Brough is a similar style of player to Smith but with the best kicking game in the league. Our kicking game has been inconsistent over the past few years so that's something that needs to be considered. Overall though, I'd say Chase is the better option, just for the space he'd create for the wide men and Sam.

Fine, looks like fat talk to me. lets see who they are, but remember it can't be just a list of the worlds best, it must be those who we would at least have a outside chance of signing! show us the list please..

Billy Goat Brough or Chase The Ace, I don't mind, either would do, with Chase he is a better play maker a good player with the brain-ball, (like Finch) Brough for me is not as good in this department but he can punt, so would be a good back up to Pat, a much better choice than what we have at the minute. (no disrespect to anyone) but till IL makes a move, it's just our opinions, nout wrong in that, it gives us something to talk about till he does.

My ratings would be out of 10.. Brough 7, Chase 8. Finch 9..

for flair and attacking the line i would agree but that doesn't make him a better player than tommy.

It's simple, if he was he would be playing in the NRL. That's where Tommy will be next season.

On Chase, he's alright but personally I don't want him. His lack of passing ability concerns me more than his lack of defensive ability.

He's top of the try assists table in a poor Cas team, how can his passing be a concern?

I don't know about the stats. When I've watched him his passing has been poor, I think he will struggle in our structured attack especially in his first season.

Fair enough. Personally I don't think there are any issues with his passing. I agree he could be too off the cuff to fit in our set plays but I'm sure a full pre season working with this squad under wane and Harris should get him up to speed. At this stage I dont think there is a better (realistic) option to replace finch unless there is any chance of getting soward over.

That's just bizarre because he's both an excellent passer and a solid tackler for someone his size.

Got to be honest and say some Wigan fans are talking out of their backsides regarding chase's ability.

Whilst I do not personally think he quite deserved mos, there is no way you cant deny the fact that he is a cracking player.

I know that there may be I'll feeling toward him after he cracked ropati and beat Sam to mos, but surely that should not cloud your opinion of his technical ability?
