Wow our club really does listen to us! Awesome kit, please no more experimenting EVER again.

That kit is quite simply brilliant.

I look at it and it just screams 'Wigan'. Smart and classy design. I won't be buying it because I don't really wear replica shirts anymore but I am happy the ouor identity is back.

Surely by inviting the public to tonight's event they would have known it would end up going out early, everybody has been taking photo's.

Now that pic makes it look alot better

But we had record sales from that experiment, so from a marketing/business perspective it worked.

That said, I'm very pleased with this kit and I'll have to get saving now for Christmas because that is a VERY smart kit.

i would give my two testicles to be walking down that tunnel, how could you bring that atmosphere back to these days all the little heads poping over the wall to see there idols playing rugby. maybe some should show joel that picture before he makes the mistake.

I reckon that was down to other factors rather than the kit design, such as Grand Final.winners and Challenge Cup Finalists. I know that in the weeks leading up to the final, we sold out of the home kit.

Awwwwww, they're probably more gutted by the fact that it was doing internet rounds before the special 250 got to see it. I can't say I ever agreed with giving the first 250 to purchase their season tickets a special preview of the new shirt, they didn't pay any more for their season ticket than anyone else, just had the money mid-month to go out and buy. Bearing in mind that the prices went up, there's going to be those who almost had enough on 13th October, but couldn't buy until pay day last week. It was a rubbish idea that did them no favours in my view.

The club seem to have dropped the ball on announcing things, whoever is responsible for making announcements and product launches wants retraining.

Don't really like the big patch of white on the back of the shirt shown in the video. Is that just space for the players numbers? I would prefer the fans shirts to be cherry and white hoops all round the shirt.

Anybody pre ordering online be careful as the sizing guide is still down as Kooga sizes so they may not be the same. I think I will go to the shop to get mine to make sure

They are the players shirts. They also have little rubber balls on the front to grip the ball.

Apparently they are hooped on the back for the fans and will not have the grip on them.

Belting! will be asking Santa for one!

very nice kit...I can see why everybody is happy with that. You can't beat good, bold and solid traditional designs! I really don't know why the clubs mess about with trying to be too clever....your kit last year was a shocker!...we've had some as well....got my fingers crossed for a 'V' shirt or primrose and blue hoops for us.

Absolutely ace. The white panel on the back where the number goes has made it for me, really does salute the whole traditional feeling of the kit.

Is there some sort of discount for season ticket holders? Sure I read so somewhere. Or was it just those who attended last night?
