Not at all..I dont honestly know how Ryan Bailey gets away with some of the things he does and can totally understand when other players take it in their own hands to sort him out and Ive been a Leeds supporter since 1986. So your saying he went into the tackle or at some point in the tackle decided to gouge Harrison and it was in no way a bad attempt at holding him down to slow a very quick Warrington PTB?

It was clearly a foul and if he'd made contact with any other part of Harrison he would have been rightly penalised for holding down.

david howell got 6 games for biting so i think hock will get 8 games and maybe a final warning from wigan or be sacked

whoever the culprit is there is no room for it in the modern game,just as there wasn't a couple of years back when he was doing the same kind of thing - this guy is a thug,just as he was before and he and others like him should receive the punishment befitting the crime
I trust the RFL will do the necessary..........

There are tons of incidents in the game that are equally as dangerous such as striking a players face with the elbow when on the ground, dropping on late when a player is tackled etc etc. I trust EVERY INCIDENT in rugby league will result in the RFL doing what is necessary according to their rules and not the opinions of non-Wigan fans.

Don't forget hocks poor record has to be taken in to consideration also.

I wouldn't disagree with an 8 match ban minimum for an offence as serious as gouging.

Furthermore, to prevent RL going further down the football route of players constantly challenging the referee, I would like to see the RFL introduce say a 1 match ban against players who try to undermine the referee. There has been another example on Friday night where a player renowned for "spitting the dummy" was yellow carded on Friday night for indiscipline. There are a small number of players in SL who constantly challenge the referee's authority and decisions (team captains obviously are allowed to approach the referee) and this needs to be sorted once and for all.

That was an absolute brain fart from hock, disgusting from him, his season is over.

Which is a shame because IMO he was our best player today.

If he doesn't get a long ban something is wrong
