Where the hell have i said that RL would fail without Wigan. It would fail if Saints, Leeds or Wigan went under. If Wire went under no one would be that bothered.

| Quote ="THEOriginalWire"ofcourse you agree with him, your a wigan fan too!'"
And you don't agree with him because you're a Warrington fan.
You see, yet another of your pointless observations.
Look at what you're doing here - criticising Wigan fans for defending their club against trolls on their own board.
What do you think this says about you?
Couch it in as much reasonable language as you like, but you're plainly siding with the brainless idiot from Warrington.
The moment I see you checking your fire on the Wiganers, and personally berating the prat who's actually caused all this (and in the process has let his and your club down), then I'll reconsider. But I haven't seen much sign of that yet.
The reality is that trolling by Wire fans is pretty endemic on the Wigan board at present. You guys who set yourselves up as the moderate Wire element could do with ripping into some of these guys, rather than into those who get irritated by them. Otherwise you're basically no improvement on them.

Well then maybe you need to read the posts again, i haven't supported anything the troll has said, in fact all i said was that he will go away if you ignore him, you can read into that whatever you want, but i have not supported him or his views, nor will i.
I will say one thing though, starting a thread about trolls and not expecting them to pop up is like saying heres some money, but you cant take any.

| With the comment made by Priestman about clubs going under if Wigan went under hes not far wrong. Fact is most RL players in SL are produced in the Wigan area. But that would not put any other club out of business if Wigan suddenly go under. But we take on average roughly 3k or more supporters to most if not all away games every season. That for a club like Salford, Crusaders, Quins, Cas etc is some serious amount of money. Like in 2006 we struggled but still took 3k to away games and even our home attendances went up during that season. When Wire were in the bottom half of the table not even bottom 2 your home attendances dropped. And it amazes me that people call Saints, Wigan and Leeds glory hunters when Wire is the biggest example of this.
SL needs Wigan far more than most clubs. Only Saints and Leeds i think has done as much for the finances of all tyhe clubs since SL started. As if they struggle attendances for home and away will hold firm for all other clubs they will drop.
Thats my original post. The point i was making is that SL needs Wigan as much as it needs Saints and Leeds. The 3 i mention brings very good away support to every SL stadium and has done that for years. If either of those 3 clubs would go under it would seriously hit all clubs in SL. See if the 3 went under not just Wigan but any of the 3 teams. I did not say it would destroy RL. Dont be so blinkered.
Top 3 sides in teams on fan base in SL are Saints Leeds and Wigan.

It seems the troll apologists pop up as well.
I find it hilarious that you've adopted this high moral tone when all you're actually doing is continuing the attack in a slightly more covert way.
If you're genuinely embarrassed by the Wire trolls who infest the Wigan board - and it's not just this thread (numerous have been closed down recently because Wire idiots - and sorry, but they are primarily from Wire - have turned them into dik-measuring contests), then I suggest you tackle them head-on and tell them to nob off as they are embarrassing your club. Offering them indirect support by patronising the Wigan fans who respond to them is hardly going to make them think twice, is it?

apologies then, as you say, i misunderstood/misread your post, but priestman did say just wigan, and in my opinion that is a blinkered view, because we take a fare few away to most games, possibly sometimes more than saints and leeds take, but i wouldn't say for definite because i'm not sure of the facts.
Where are the statistics to say Saints are in the top 3 teams based on fan base, leeds yes, you yes, but i disagree with saints.

Wire indeed do now take a decent support but its only in the last few 2-3 years ive seen you have a sizeable support at the DW. I am talking about for over a decade. Saints over the last decade will have taken more supporters to away games than Wire have.

As i said, i haven't supported a thing that Wirewonder said, and i have called him out before on our board. As have many others, but then again i don't see why that matters to you.
Don't think that wirewonder is the only troll on RLfans, you have a few that infest our boards too, and then when some of the ones who want to actually have a real discussion on here like myself, you decide to take the high road and label us all as such. I have not supported nor will i ever support Wire Wonder, he is an embarassing troll, and as i already pointed out, he is probably not even a warrington fan. But let's see how you twist it this time?

100%, but it's completely relative to success, the only club i have seen whose attendances didn't really become affected when their success slowed was Wigan, but that is sport, the more successful a team get's the more support they will get. I have supported Wire for many years, and most of those were extremely unsuccessful years, and as i pointed out on a thread on our board, i think in a few years time our success will die down, due to our older players leaving etc... but i won't stop going to watch, home or away, because i supported them before the success and i will support them after it. As I said before you can tell he's a wire fan as let's face it he's a tool of the highest order just like all the other Wire fans. He's one of those ten a penny Wire fans who think the CC matters or think winning that makes them a big club. Let's face it your still on par with Cas as far as playoff wins goes but yet you all seem happy with last years MASSIVE failure.
I'll state again RL could not live without Wigan RL. The SL and championship is soaked and built on Wigan talent from guys like Kev Brown at Hudds all the way down to the Coyles and Ballards of this world. Our support is unmatched and were the biggest draw in SL when we come to town.
Live with your head in the sand all you want but the game you love is dependant on the club you hate.

You have such a warped view of Warrington Fans, it's like me basing what every wigan fan is like on how much of a tool you are acting. It would be stupid of me, but i'm not that stupid to believe that all wigan fans have their heads up their own s like you seem to.
I get the feeling that you know nothing other than Wigan Rugby, have you ever stepped foot outside of wigan. As much of an idiot as Wire Wonder is, right now you are on the same level in my books.

Again your opinion like your fans & clubs is a joke and holds no weight around here.
You can believe what you want but RL is dependant on Wigan. Lose Wigan and you'd have nothing else worth watching.

tbh i agree with the first part of your post(the 2nd time today i agree with a wire fan)! anyone with half a brain cell knows you get good and bad in every set of fans.however this wigan/wire d**k measuring contest is quite amusing

Pretty much.
I've said it a million times I'd play our kids in it.

In order of importance i hold GF above the CC.

That's the thing it isn't.

Means nothing ?
I remember going with my Aunty/Uncle and Cousin (all wigan fans) in either 93 or 94, thousands of wigan fans all lined up on Warrington road for the victory parade, i think it was v Leeds (don't quote me on that). From there up to Central park again thousands there. I don't know how many you'd won then but it was obviously important to all those fans, even after all those previous cups.
I understand the GF is a lot more important but don't rubbish the cup just because it's Wire. I never rubbished it when it was Wigan winning it.

Rescpect for what each side has done.
Wire fans really reminds me of Everton fans. I am a Liverpool fan as well and you notice that you can have a great debate with Man U, Arsenal, Chelsea etc fans but Evertonians are always convinced they are the best side and are always hard done by every decision. I have a mate in work and in August he put a £20 bet on Everton to finish in the top 2. Deluded does not come close to it.
Priestman if oyu are not going to the CC final this season as its not important you can come and do my shift at work and give me your ticket please. Bank Holiday weekend i have no chance of getting it off.
