I seriously question how babyface & Odemwingie can call themselves fans of Wigan if all they can do is slate Pryce today after 1 game because of how he "looked" you two seriously need to get your heads tested if you think that Ainscough is twice the player Pryce is based on 1 game yeah just remind me fellas how many tries did we concede on Pryce's wing today and how many did we concede last week on Ainscough's or the fact that because Ainscough scored 17 in 12 compared to Pryce's 34 in 50 odd games for Bradford and as for doing nothing in the reserves so being top try scorer last year was doing nothing well god i can't wait for him to start doing something if thats classed as nothing yet Marsh was far better today despite twice showing inexperience don't get me wrong I'm happy with Marsh today but for anyone to suggest he was "better" than Pryce is laughable they where much the same did nothing special but both did little wrong.

having just waded through 6 pages of mostly negative comments about pryce i thought i would post . I have been a massive critic of pryce in the past, as i watch most 20`s games. Today however in his first full 80 for us since christ knows. I think he did a solid if unspectacular job. He did what IMO was expected of him. Whether he will make a regular spot on the wing remains to be seen. I cant see him being at wigan next season so all this debating will be pretty irrelevant. We have some exciting young wingers in our ranks who will no doubt be in time given their chance. Having said that Pryce did ok today

Exactly how I saw it.

His size works against him I think. People expect him to run everyone over, when he doesn't it's seen as him not trying.

He wern't spectacular and made mistakes but obviously we forgive some and not others. Thought he tried hard and will improve - I've said before in 21's he's been shown as greedy with the ball but maybe thats just trying to impress and I'm sure will improve that. Thought the lad did well thought on a big occasion.

no Wigan player can play against Wigan whilst on loan/dual registration.

Maybe thats the master plan. Send everyone on loan then they've no team to play against!

When we brought him in I said he was overrated with a terrible work ethic and a poor attitude.

The only reason I brought Marsh into it was to point out that you wern't judging players by the same standards, thats all. I thought Marsh had an ok game, he was solid, the one thing he did show was pace when trying to get to the line. His acceleration there was brilliant!

First SL game of the season, 8th since 2006 - cut him some slack for staying in position and not wanting to get caught out.

Or would you have been part of the forgiving crew if he'd been inside looking for work when hudds moved the ball out to his wing that couple of times (e.g. when he palmed the ball away when they had a 4 on 2 overlap and would have scored).

He was rusty and nervous, the same way that Marsh was - Marsh settled as he naturally got more involved playing at centre and on the right side where most of the action was happening, Karl actually settled more as the game went on to just less noticeable due to less action on that side

not the worst player ive ever seen but certainly not as good as amos, pat, darrell or shaun ainscough.

just watched the game again and the big lad did nothing wrong.
