See your point though; only Saints, Warrington and Leeds will take any sort of following to your place, though have sympathy with us for having Widnes and Whitehaven(!) as our 2009 derbies; Swinton, Oldham and Rochdale in 2010!

We've plenty of empty seats we need to cover up with flags anyroad, though I did find it easier at away games in Super League with being restricted to one area of the ground, rather than switching ends at half-time and it being an all-round ballache to shift the flags over (even more so missing the first 10 minutes putting them up once we know which way we're attacking!).

I would say we get more from Hull KR and Castleford if they are playing well.

Leeds only brought loads because of cheep tickets.

Being a Norhern Soul fan, I love the Keep the faith flag in the East stand. I definately think more should be made of the Northern Soul thing. As such I've got a couple of ideas I might put on a flag.

Leeds brought a couple of thousand on their Super League visits to Hilton Park, which was a surprise. Forgot about Hull KR (where were you when you were e springs to mind).

As an example, we've raised £235 to pay for our new flag within 3 hours of the 'appeal' going on our MB today

I've had a quote from Scanachrome of Skem of £150 (+VAT) for the Boston flag (8ft x 6ft) with the slogan MORE THAN A CLUB written across the top. I'll be getting that sorted during the off season.

If anyone fancies the Eric Ashton flag, probably the one recently edited by Rolf then I reckon that will be in a similar price range.

Might be better if people share the cost on the Eric Ashton flag if the interest is there. Given that the Leythers have pledged £150 in just over an hour to Leyther Matt for a Leigh flag I'm sure we could do the same.

If the Ashton design is not favoured then can we come up with a better design that is acceptable to all and chuck in for it? PS I'm not volunteering for collection duties if people want to chuck in for something . Any takers?
