Anyone know roughly what the Wigan "end" holds. I know it merges into the smellins bits but could we get 5000 behind the sticks?

Will be something like that but theres no way of putting an exact figure on it. I'd say 5,000 at the away "end", 8,000 on the side and 4,000 between the ricket stand and the open end? As a guess?

Personally think making it all ticket will have a big effect on the attendance. it rules out any possible last minute walk up. I personally always just pay on the door at saints

I'd be surprised if this did sell out, the league games have only sold out a couple of times in the last few meetings, and that includes ST holders.

IMO this is the kind of game that is hampered by the quality of the ground. I wouldn't take kids to this kind of game, where you know the terraces will be packed, and you would have to get in an hour early to get them a spec. At the DW or somewhere like the HJ you can book decent seats and not have to worry about them.

I think plenty of families will just watch it on TV.

If Wigan can take over 4k, which looks very likely, then the atmosphere will be excellent. I thought you made plenty of noise at Hull last week, so hopefully this will come across well on Sky too after all the criticism of the playoff crowds.

I know loads of people who have bought theit tickets directly from St Helens too, including myself.

I think we should take 5k and thats more than anyone else takes to away games.

Our support in the play-offs is always the best. We have taken 6k to Leeds a few times and 5k to Bradford when there was more away fans than home fans. We filled the away stand at Hull in 2007 which no one else does other then Hull KR, I am sure our great support will continue on saturday.

Over 1000 will go today as they go on general sale, it should be above 4000 come friday and loads have bought tickets from saints.

We sold what they initially sent and have been sent "a load more". Over 3,200 is the total now from sales at Wigan.

We could be lucky to top 10/11k if sales are to be believed.

Only from someone in work, who had been the Saints ticket office that day and said they had sold 6k, and that was yesterday.

That doesn't sound too bad tbh. That would be 9,200 with the Wigan sales, and that is a couple of days before kick off.

I would expect 14k.

You know what - although its embarrassing for them and probably the game if they can't sell out, I couldn't care less.

It would be a huge advantage for our boys if we can drown them out on Saturday. Don't forget many Wigan tickets have been bought from St Helens, my 4 included.
