Yes he has let the club,and the fans down, but who has he let down most his Family and HIMSELF and I don`think he needs you to tell him I think he knows that already. Understand where you are coming from in my job you get caught taking drugs there is no way back career gone simple as, I have know guys broken through there own stupidity and that what it is, I bet if Gaz could turm the clock back he would.

i work for pilks glass st.helens an they do drug test all the time so why cant a club like wigan and any other club do there own testing to keep them on the toes i mean they all meant be proffesionals so why not treat them like it it was nt long ago when saints had to sack danny langtree out of the reserves for testing for the same thing so it shows its creeping in the game

I think people are missing the point here.

Nobody is asking anyone else to feel sorry for him. He made a stupid mistake, he was caught, he is getting help and he is going to have to deal with the consequences.

I really like the guy as a player and if the club decide to stick by him, help him through his addiction and he returns in 2 years I would applaud the club for helping a man (not very intelligent one if were being truthful) who has made a mistake. Hull Kr could have sacked Cockayne, Saints could have sacked Pryce but they stood by them.

Obviously they didn't have a 2 year ban to contend with but they have both made mistakes and are coming through it.

Equally, if they get rid there wont be anybody outraged at the decision, I think 99% of us expected that. But after reading that article I actually want the club to stand by him

To be fair i am glad to see the back of Gareth Hock. Not only as he let himself down, he as shamed rugby league in general. It should be a life long ban imo, forget two years!
