To be fair he's also right about us being "asset poor" in the sense that although we own Orrell we owe far more to IL's company (IL's company took over DW's debts) than Orrell is worth (or at least this was the case at 30 November 2007). 2008 accounts hadn't been filed last time I checked so don't know if this has changed significantly enough since.

I think there a difference between "Wigan are cr @p" style signatures and making a political point (I am being generous there because having once met this bloke it is, IMO, just part of his bigoted view of all things Wigan i.e he's as bad as those 7K he mentions in his sig).

I know a few St Helens people who were pretty disgusted by that. But, as I've never witnessed that happening at any other ground (and I followed the Hanley / Gill Wigan team everywhere) using Chairmaker's model, it would have been just as easy to call St Helens 'the Racism Capital of Rugby League'.
