Brief thoughts.. we were a little off the pace but showed a hell of a lot of bottle to win that. Our right side is still weak on communication, Deacon is definitely the liability there and Pat needs to get onto some speedwork. Well done boys!

Credit to FC though, played well tonight by and large, despite some silly errors that let us in in the first half. Ey, I wonder if they fancy letting Joel play in their second row in return for Manu playing in our centre?

I actually didnt think it was a bad option really. We'd had no possession in that 2nd half, there was 5 minutes left and we had battered bodies allover the field. Would have just taken the sting out and run the clock down a bit.

Just got out of jail..phew..Hock shouldn't be playing in the big SL games for at least another month, just is nowhere near that level yet..Joel is really struggling at centre..thank the lord for his brother!!

He attacked deacon all night, very effectively. He couldnt transistion to centre for me though

He isn't at the level yet to play in big games and it nearly cost us last week against the Wire. That's why MM took him off and put Hansen back on to shore up the defence, and it showed again tonight. I'd be looking at next season for him TBH. Hope he misses out next week.

Deacon was let down by Farrell and Joel tonight in defence. I thought Faz had a shocker and I'm just hoping his confidence hasn't take a knock from being left out recently.

Cross looks an ok fill in and Hock is off the pace but it'll come.

Prescott and Hansen in for Cross and Hock next week with Faz being lucky to hang onto a bench spot IMO.

We barely made it into 2nd gear for most of the game, little possession, too many mistakes, poor discipline. JT and Farrell were both poor IMO

I disagree, Deacon was the weakest link the defence tonight by a long way. Farrell wasn't great either, but Joel and Charnley defended very well.

Ill take that win! Hull threw everything they had at us tonight, absolutley everything, they are fighting fr a top 8 spot and are desperate.

Was feeling really nervous about the match but we came through. Just hope no-bodys injured for next week. Will be a massive boost to have HH back.

Agree. Joel was poor but i thought Farrell had one of his worst games for the first team tonight and his form has been poor for a while now. Shame because we all know what he is capable of, bench spot would be a bad call for a big semi.

Use a member of the squad that has had a full pre-season rather than a player that will be awesome next year but is really way of the pace at the moment!!

Farrell has been poor in his last few games and shouldnt play next week. I'd go with Hansen and Hoffman starting with Hock on the bench, maybe doing around 20-25 mins with the starting SRs doing big stints. If Preccys fit then he comes in for Cross.
