But whilst knowing the number of games you will tend to know if you you went to the majority of away games or not compared to this season!
Who knows give it a year or 2 and you can be d again!

You need to make sure all your vaccination shots are up to date before travelling from a successfull, vibrant metropolis like Leeds to a backwater like Wigan.

I didn't make the game as my time machine is currently broken, so I wasn't able to travel back to visit you in the seventies.

Talking about time machines reminds me of when I visited Wigan last, and went to where the Rugby ground should be. It appears to be a supermarket. How did that happen ?? Have you noticed as well ?

If it helps, I didn't go, much as I haven't gone to many, many games since I moved to the Midlands in 2007. I go occasionally, dictated by my schedule rather than by who we're playing, and it makes little or no difference whether we're home or away, since the journey tends to be about the same. I went to lots of games in 2004. And 2005, and 2006. And 1989 onwards really. Although, while I tend not to focus on individual games, I do remember that Wigan away was one of only 3 I missed in 2004, because I was on holiday. I remember being disappointed that the Wigan game coincided with my holiday. I was more hardcore in those days you see. If memory serves we did get two trips to the JJB that year though, so it was alright.

I could still make it to more games, but my life is increasingly "down here" rather than "up there" so my priorities have changed. I still consider myself a Leeds fan, rather than anyone else, so I think my loyalty remains intact.

No idea what everyone else who came in 2004 but not last week was doing. None of my business really. I thought I'd share my experiences with you in the hope that it allows you some kind of closure.

As with most topics Leeds fans are only interested when it suits them to be! I just thought with Leeds RL being the best club ever and the biggest and coming from the city thats the envy of everyone I just thought they may have brought a few more fans than they did.

Why would anyone be interested in a topic like this when it doesn't suit them to be? I definitely wouldn't either go to a game or write on a message board if it didn't suit me. True story. People just seemed to be very troubled by the location of the Leeds fans, so I thought I'd try to help out. Every little helps, after all.

Until last Friday when you suddenly couldn't even be d to find out the score - which coincided, somewhat suspiciously, with many Leeds fans thinking they were going to get a tonking. Clearly we all have different definitions of loyalty.

It was very busy round J31 eastbound at Normanton, looks like there'd been a big shunt. Plenty of police cars and ambulances. Even at 5pm the traffic was backed up to J29 the M1/M62 intersection.

Whatever the problem, seems it stopped you getting to Salford....

I am listening on the radio so I can't see the away support but I am sure it is more than 200. Sounds much more than that on the radio.

I am not shocked we havn't taken many though, the week after another away game... friday night... on sky... in hull... the week before a semi-final. Most people will have chosen the semi-final over this game.

There was approximately 4-5 times as many Leeds fans there than Wigans humiliating following tonight.

Do i really care?, does it really matter? Not one bit. I just thought it was quite appropriate that i made reference to it in light of the utter drivel posted on this thread,

Wigan fans must travel much further than Leeds also some wont be there due to work for example I start work in 40 minutes so couldnt go. Many wont have had time to go after finishing work at 5/6 (remember it takes 2.5-3.5 hours to get to Hull from Wigan) if it was Saturday or Sunday there would be more than you took last week.
