i would recommend 'CALELLA PALACE' hotel if anyone is stopping in calella. really nice hotel and cheap....

2 jacuzzi's on the roof, a bar and massive space for catching the rays. fantastic!!

Would have thought we would take more than 1000 fans, i cant see this game selling out because the club website is advising you to buy a ticket incase they have none left on the day.

Im stopping in Calella Palace for a week so im glad you said it was alright - Going all inclusive aswel!

Why do so many people stay in Calella?

Because its alot better and friendley than perpi, nice town,nice beach and nice beer/pubs

and a bit cheaper perhaps

Cheap flight transfers to Gerona, not far from Calella.
Short drive by car to the ground.
Close enough for a trip to Barca.
Great Beach.

I meant in Calella rather than some of the other Costa Brava towns. Anyroad, safe flights for all and enjoy your time in Catalonia

Don't forget all of you that are staying in Perpignan that the Dragons supporters clubs are arranging a pre match grillade in Les Allees Maillols, which is in the centre of Perpignan opposite the Castillet cinema. We have ordered 12000 snails so come along and try some.

For the less adventurous we also have sausages, black pudding and chops. Fruit and cheese is also provided as is red and rose wine. All is included in the price of 15€. Starts at midday.

Wouldn't be a french meal without chucking some fruit and cheese in there. Still remember our after match food after we played there - piece of gammon, a tangerine and some cheese. Think that was also the same trip the chef decided put a fried egg on my pizza. Weird

Got my ticket today for catalan and just incase fans dont know the kick off stated on the ticket is wrong as it says 1730 local time when its 2030.

Flying from Leeds on 30th with Ryanair to Carcassonne. Staying at the Victoria Hotel for 2 nights before the next 3 on the beach at Keycamp in Argeles Sur Mer (a Sun newspaper Holiday). Flying back on Monday 5th from Girona to Leeds, booked the frog bus from Perpignan to Girona.

Cant decide whether to hire a car or try the public transport, i've heard that the trains are very good for getting from Carcassonne to Perpignan, not so sure about getting from Perpignan to Argeles Sur Mer. Has anyone any experience of the bus service or taxi's.

Are Taxi's expensive, as i need to get to the 06:30am Perpignan to Girona frog bus from Argeles Sur Mer. I have been told its about 10 - 12 miles.

Are we playing them at the same ground Catalans played Wakefield this weekend as it just basically a building site.

They played Wakefield at their own ground, Gilbert Brutus, but we'll be playing them at Aime Giral. It's the home of the USAP rugby union club and where they played their first ever Super League game... against us.

It has a different look now though, great little stadium. It's a shame they couldn't have shared it really but I guess when they have their own ground just as good it will be worth it.
