Correct. I hear SP and get where he’s coming from in that the disciplinary are being far too over zealous, especially in friendlies but that was just lunacy from Keighran. To cost his team in a GF by doing 2 of those tackles was poor on his part but to then follow it up with another in his first tackle for his new club was something my eyes struggled to believe.

Not sure if he’s had a set back but Peet seemed to suggest it’ll be April in an interview on Wigan TV before the Hull game.

I’d be looking at giving at least Chan a run out at second row in the reserve game this weekend and if they feel somebody like Dupree or Hill would be the next in line at second row, it might be worth giving one of those a go as well.

It will be Farrell and Isa but Farrell always does 80 mins Isa never does.
Second row subs will be vital for when Isa is interchanged.

It will be but I’m just thinking ahead to one needing a breather during a game or god forbid, if one was to get injured. We’re down to just those 2 lads and the reserves game seems a good opportunity to look at who could do a job should they need to in the weeks to come.

Isa can still do 80 minutes no problem.

More reason to leave him out of the Cas game IMO and save him for Penrith.

French did look a bit podgy but he never looks great physically, won’t be winning any bodybuilding comps that’s for sure but I would think that’s a lot down to his genetics rather than lifestyle. One of the fittest blokes I knew in the army was overweight and had very little muscle, he just had unfortunate genetics but when it came to performance the guy was a machine.

The aesthetics aside, I thought French generally looked a little unfit - he was slow retreating the 10 metres, often looked pedestrian and a little lazy off the ball and seemed to be struggling to catch his breath.

Not saying it necessarily has any implications for his performances when the season starts but that's what I saw on Sunday.

The lad has got plenty of work to do over the next fortnight.

Not sure a fortnight will be enough to get to where he ought to be. The club giving him the luxury of three months off is understandable given the quality of player but he has to return the favour by staying fit. Field in contrast looked in terrific condition.

To be honest I am disappointed with his conditioning. I am sure that privately the club will be as well.

Was the review panel today? I checked the website and the last review was a week ago today (Thursday). Do they do them in the day or evening?

Saw the list on Twitter and reports on one or two RL media sites. Three games for Adam Yates and two for King V (I’ll not even try finishing) at Salford. There was an amnesty on head high tackles in Friendlies so Dwyer and Wrench avoided bans for Wire.

Just seen some videos somebody has posted in one of the Wigan facebook groups, looks like Farrimond threw a beautiful pass out for one of Miski's tries.

Have been very impressed with what i have seem from him over these friendlies.

The lads a star in the making, we need to get him tied down long-term.
