Hull seem to have give up after 1/2 an hour

My frustration comes from us being useless last week and seeing us having to rely on Hull.

Wire 28-6, 38 mins.

Hull have been the better team but their defense is like swiss cheese. Warrington have created nowt all Hull errors or missed tackles.

I wouldn't say Hull have been the better team but this has been a far more even contest than the scoreline suggests. Hull just haven't been able to finish and have thrown a couple of dummies where they should have thrown passes (Westerman). Overall I've been impressed by Hull but they just don't look like they've got the killer instinct. Hoping for a better 2nd half from them.

eta: I should also add that Ganson has come up with some clangers if you ask me. Grapple-tackles galore, failing to spot knock-ons which occur right in front of him, failing to reset the tackle count, and the Atkins steal after a Rugby Union style maul. What was that about?

Lauaki is awful. Not as bad as Ganson but awful.

Carvell took Will Sharp's head off! Interesting to see what people think of the tackling technique of Wire tonight. No more pretty than ours but with a lot of pulling the leg back with potential danger to the ankle joint.

I thought the same myself. If people are unhappy with Wigan's technique then they ought to be livid with Warringtons Union mauls and the like. And it's bad enough turtling, but flopping when the tackle is complete and THEN turtling? Ganson was a joke in these respects.

I think at least a 1 game ban for it, regardless of the lack of an injury as precedents have been set, clear attack to the head. Don't care if he patted him on his head and said sorry. Ganson made his own rules up tonight for the PTB and tackle, some of that stuff had to be seen to be believed!
