A home draw is all you can ask for in the challenge cup. About time we had one anyway. Obviously Gateshead would have been anyone's preferred choice but it is the luck of the draw. We could have had some very difficult ties - Saints away, Hull KR away, Wire away etc but fortunately we have got a home draw and out of all the super league sides in the draw I would have had to have said Salford.

The problem Gateshead have is their ground holds far TOO many people and they dont have any fans.

Can see them moving this if it is still in the rule book. Even with it being saints they would be lucky to get over 1000 at home for this tie and gateshead therefore get ticket money for only 500 tickets (hardly a pay day) where as the game would probably get 4-5k at Knowsley Road!

good draw for us, gives us a great chance of reaching the semi final with the home advantage but not getting too carried away. Salford will feel they have a chance of progressing aswell, makes for a good game
