Are the club still getting the big flag out this season that went over the middle of the south stand before kick off last season?

Excellent. I see Kingy/ Conroy's gets prime central position!!

We put the 'bigger' (12 x 6 ) flags in the , and the smaller ones (10 x 5 ) outside of those, it looked more balanced that way, hope all are happy with the layout, we can change the position of flags each time we put them up, still room for some more, get em' ordered !!!!!!!!!!!!

He did say he will check that no-one from the club "Borrowed" it for a local event etc and let me know!
Obviously if we can track it down before next Thursday it can go up when the others are put back up Next Friday!

Good effort fellas. I feel me sitting around supping ale in the Brocket whilst the rest of you had a meeting about it was a valuable contribution...

Just a quick word of caution!
This will also be brought up at the next Meeting in a couple of weeks.

We're going to have to make it compulsory that the Flags have Eyelets/Long Ties on each of the 4 x corners. We will also have to look at getting a couple of the existing ones upgraded.

There could be problems if we don't as it's VERY WINDY up there and the flags will get blown around and pushed back over the Gantry or ripped if we don't.

We managed to secure them all this time (apart from Conroy's) at the bottom but it does mean some are slightly scrunched up??

Really hoping you can make it again in a couple of weeks!

Pleased with that!! Get a few more up there and it will be full and look even better! Well done Jukes for making the effort to sort it today!! I'm looking forward to decking some away grounds out with them as well.

Picture doesn't show the best angle, but I reckon you could get another 4-6 flags up there depending on size. As for away grounds, good luck with that one - very hit and miss in my experience.

Yeah this is the problem. Thinking through all of the grounds in my head, there are only a few where they could be put up and actually look good. A lot of the grounds are definate no-goers. Our first away game is Wire, it will be a massive game and would be good to take all the flags, however there are adverts all across the back of the stand so finding a place to hang them is an issue!
