Top teams over the years have seen plenty of unfancied players come in and be massive successes. Look at Bradford - Hape, Withers, Robbie Paul etc. None of them had more than 40 NRL caps. Saints had Fa'asavalu (a complete unknown) they signed Hargreaves etc.
We've had plenty of success in the modern times with guys like Carmont, Flower & and an aging Paul Deacon. Heck go back to the 'glory days' and we picked Iro up from relative obscurity and Henry Paul was drafted in after a season with Wakey.'"

He then played 2 season's at the Eastern Suburbs club (Roosters now)

The real clown is the only man you haven't mentioned - Joel Tomkins. That wasn't a situation where he was stepped or the man was going down or anything. He has plenty time and still whacks him round the head in in GP in kickable range.
No the ref didn't forget it was golden point. How is he going to forget he's refereeing a World Club Challenge that has gone to golden point? It's not something that tends to slip the mind  |

Back on topic some of the top pundits and commentators are giving him some major wraps and are shocked we have secured him.
Sounds like they expected him to have a big future in the NRL and are surprised he has made the move to SL.
