I am a season ticket holder but one per ST was neither use nor ornament. 2 mins on the phone to RFL and was sorted with tickets for the Wigan end. This all seems very confusing but can't make any difference where tickets are bought the club will still end up with the same money - I think??

2 ST holders here who bought through the RFL website. Simply can't get over to Wigan easily during the week.

I though Ticketmaster ran both the RFL and the Wigan ticketing systems, so surely they should be compatible?

Apparantley I've heard the queue is round the north stand so all good - would love to kn ow numbers sold fropm cluib though, MATT????

I spoke with Matt yesterday, ticket sales from the club had started to go slow, the queues on Monday went early afternoon and its not been too busy since. He says most are getting tickets from the RFL.

He expected sales to pick up today when they go on general sale.

wigan will sell there tickets, leeds will struggle to sell theres . wire fans well outnumbered leeds last year

Just bought two tickets in block 131 with no issues on the RFL ticketing site.

Id imagine therell be less 'neutral' fans at the final than normal. Wigan are universally hated by all fans, Leeds are very much disliked t'other side of the pennines. So the neutral will be hard picked to find a club to support for the day.

I'd like to know how many tickets have been sold to Wigan fans via the RFL, as Ive said previously I don't know anyone thats bought one through the club. But with everyone knowing that the West stand is ours, it will be still be a sea of Cherry and White.

I bought 14 tickets in block 539 on Sunday online in about 2 mins. Had x5 season tickets and never used them.

Classic queuing that I remember. Must have been in the middle of our 8 in a row. My dad dropped me off at 7am on his way to work, saying "Get tickets sorted then off to school." Finally got our tickets at about 2pm, and then went home (couldn't go to school at that time). Had no problems getting a sick note off me dad though.

Great days, remember everyone in the queue being really friendly. Queuing over 'the duggie' and into the riverside club where you finally got warm when the queue moved inside.

My best effort was for the Verve tickets at Haigh Hall. Was going to get up early and get down there. Had a few beers the night before and ended up going down at about 10am, walking straight in and getting tickets. Several of my mates had queued overnight and were well miffed.

No they didn't by any stretch of the imagination. Unless the attendance was over 80k, which it it wasn't .

Hard to say what? That Leeds had just been on the end of an almighty hiding?. I expect the same this year.

Just out of interest, and sorry if its mentioned earlier (wasn't reading it all) if more tickets are sold through the RFL site does that decrease the money Wigan will receive from tickets?

Somebody just said on facebook that the upper tier has sold out. Not sure if that is true.

I've also heard that most of the bottom tier behind the sticks has sold out?

i am a season ticket holder for the last 15 years and live near Coventry...100 miles from Wigan...had to wait until Wednesday to try and get tickets from the club....only bottom tier they had with 2 seats together were on the very front row in the cheap seats....not a happy bunny.... should do a pre allocation after quarter final all ST holders apply with a preference of price range....dont want to sit in the 5th bloody tier

This morning's queue was cleared by about half 10 and relatively steady since then. £51 tickets now sold out so slowly getting there, though still a decent number left in the £21, £26 and £31 categories for those phoning/calling down tomorrow.

this happened to me in 2009 the more expensive seats sold out just as I got to the ticket office window I was really brassed of with having to have the cheaper bottom tier tickets.
however when we got there I was glad we got the cheap ones we were close to the action and had a brilliant view.

In 2010 I went straight for the Cheap tickets and ended up sitting two rows from the front behind the try line near the corner flags they were awesome seats.... I would never go for anything other than the cheap front blocks again

Finally managed to get ours today. No queue which was a bonus but as expected missed out on all the lower tier seats. Ended up getting top corner of the upper tier, £26.

Bit gutted as I would much rather have been in the lower tier but at least we'll be there!

Just to clear up some of the 'comments' about the Leeds turnout last year at Wembley. IMO both teams appeared to have a very similar number of fans. About 30k each I would say with the remainder of the crowd being neutral.

Dont worry, every seat in Wembley has a great view. Only the back few rows get a bit harem scarum, everywhere else is superb.

Anybody in the upper tier fear not, we were there a couple of seasons back and you get a great overview of the stadium
