In all honestly, the 7 league games previous haven't been any more entertaining than this one, just relief at the end to have won via very basic rugby, against slightly worse teams. Today we've been found out, against a good team.

A well over-due thrashing. The players fully deserve this embarrassment.

Thank god we've lost the "unbeaten" tag after nearly being beaten in all 7 games and also getting knocked out of the cup.

What a shameful display

We have heard that too many times now for it even to be funny. This is embarrassing. Our forwards look like they are running into a brick wall. Most of the time our forwards are taking the ball standing still and do not look interested. A couple of questions need answering starting with "What does a decent rugby team look like?. The answer to that question will involve props who can go forward. So far this season we have hung on to beat teams that will be struggling to get into the top five and that just about places us in the grand scheme of things. I cannot even see what Lam could do because we have such an identikit squad that we will replace like for like.

Where are the two-bob ‘bullies’ like Smithies and Partington today? Set of cowards.

I’m probably what people would call a happy clapper/optimist but this is awful. We threw some shockers in last season but nothing like this. Catalans have just dominated us all games and produced some good last tackle plays. Some of the players look like they’ve given up.

Shocking performance. No one stood up. Our senior players got more niggly the worse it got. Now which second row is going to play fulback next week?

There was a bit of petulance and frustration from Hardaker there but the game has gone soft if that is a bone fide head butt.

That was probably the worst performance I can remember of the last 10 years, on paper we’ve probably had worse but they’ve normally been off the back of either a massive injury crisis or the bout of illness prior to the Wakey game the other year, even last year against Hull KR you could just hold your hands up and say everything went for them that day. Today all Catalans needed to do was drive it to our line and pick the right last tackle option, if I’m honest they should/could have probably won by more

It wasn’t an off day today, just our normal level of performance from this season against a decent team this team (who were running red hot to fair).

Beating Leigh twice (very nearly losing one)
Beating Wakefield.
Beating an massively injury hit Leeds.
Scrapping past Hull before getting hammered in the Semi.
Scraping past Salford missing there 3 best players.
Decent win against Cas are average.

Losses to Huddersfield, Wire and Saints in our next 6 or so games should see us tumble down the ladder where we belong.

I’m very much Lam out but the personal he has to pick from is a problem too.
