Aye but we have Pat for full back, Carmont for left centre, Sam for stand off and Lockers/Joel/Hansen/Hock who can all play loose
Just rather see the cap space and quota spot on a player who is a specialist
Instead of Phelps or Smith I'd take him every day of the week though  |

A player with genuine pace which is very very rare these days! I'd take him in a 2nd on a performance related contract which includes his attitude off as well as his performances on it.
We currently have players like Phelps in the squad who don’t have Ashton’s attacking edge and are only marginally better than him defence. Ashton would not only add an attacking edge to the squad but if he can sort his attitude out he’d be an asset.
