Fun to watch and a complete 180 on last year in terms of entertainment. Still have mixed feelings though - felt our defensive line looked very loose and a few too many handling errors. Despite the scoreline we'll need to be a fair bit better next week.

Just enjoying going to games again and feeling entertained, rather than going through a sense of obligation but not actually enjoying it. We’re a work in progress but we are progressing and you can see the basis of a really good side forming. I thought Smith and O’Neill were probably the two most pleasing aspects of tonight. It’s great to see Smith really settling down and whilst it wasn’t perfect from O’Neill, he has all the makings of an excellent hooker.

On to next week we go. I can’t see us pulling off an upset but let’s just compete as hard as we can and see what happens. You just never know in knock out rugby.

I had a ticket for tonight's game,and, for reasons I won't go into, I didn't get there, so unfortunately only heard the commentary and watched the brief highlights. We now clearly offer a threat in attack from all parts of the field, we just need to tighten up defence around the ruck and line speed. Easier said than done..
