It may be some consolation to you to know that you aren't the only wimp to pretend the CC doesn't matter when you've just been humiliated in it. But the way all of Yorkshire joined you lot in your communal need to grow a pair after Wigan weed on you in the final in 2011 was a sure proof that such bravado is stuff and nonsense.

If the games were this weekend I'd back Hull and Hudds to go to Catalans and Wire and win but who knows come July.

Catalans or especially Hull, on current form would put up a great show in a final IMO.

Give me a choice of final now and I'd go Wigan vs Hull FC. They would take 30,000 to Wembley and the atmosphere would be excellent. They'd also be a tough nut to crack IMO. Ellis and Holdsworth back, Miller to come in, a top class backline and some tough forwards.

I'd expect us to win but it would be far from a walkover. I think they're really shaping up to look a good side now.

You could both be right to be fair, I'm still holding out for Wigan v Wire though that would be a real classic. As for Sheffield, I'd love them to manage an upset and beat London. Does anyone know who the last Championship side was to make the semis? Were Sheffield in the championship in '98 or just a poor SL side?

I predicted 2 of the ties, just had Hull & Widnes the other way round.
