| Much, much better from Mago, ran hard ran straight, quick ptb's and the odd offload, more of that please and he really could be a game breaker for us in tight matches

| How did we play? I am away camping so struggling for signal and what I have watched I could barely make out. I had this down as a home banker so a great result especially after being 12-0 down.
How has Field gone in the halves? How has Miski done as I feel a few people have been too quick to write him off on here ( I do agree it seems an odd use of a quota spot)
Probably wouldn’t have been the end of the world to lose this one with the circumstances but winning has me looking up rather than down, 3 games we should be winning before the magic weekend coming up too.

| Brilliant second half.
Bevan seemed to have the time of his life at fullback.
I got criticised on here when I said he links into the line as a 3rd half back a bit better than Field. That no look cut out ball to Marshall was an example.
Thought Sam Powell was superb and Mago much improved.

Such a nice feeling knowing we have a team that have tries in us.
With French, Field, Mago, Marshall, Farrell on the pitch it just feels like we could score every single set.
Exact opposite of last year.
To have that feeling when your 2 starting halfbacks are out is great, meanwhile the other side of the hill call it an injury crisis because one half back is injured.

| French really looked to be enjoying himself and full of confidence after a rather poor start. Miski was just fine, went well and scored his try. That score from French from Marshall's cute kick must be one of the prettiest tries I've seen in a while. Partington was good too.

3 players in on his every time and he was still making meters. If the signing of Cooper is true then two coming off the bench as impact props will be great

| That was a good result a week after a cup win. The bench, particularly Mago, changed the game for us. Fonua helped, that was dumb.
We took a long time to get going but when we did there was a lot of good performances in there. One thing today showed is we have 2 top class full backs but neither are really a half. Smith ran the show for us.
More of the same from Mago please, much more direct which caused them problems.

| Great last 50 mins, terrible opening 30. We do it all too often, we look like a different team. That said, the second half was a joy to watch.

| Agree about Mago too, much better from him. We are so good to watch when we get it right too. And again, I like the C4 coverage.

Not necessarily aimed at you, but I think the strong start that we've had to the season makes people forget that we're less than a year into a 3 year project. Lots of players still developing their game - Byrne, Ellis, Smith, Field, Smithies etc.
We aren't going to string 80mins together for a while yet.

Great summation.
I must admit I feared the worst before the game and when we went 12 points down I thought it was game over.
A brilliant second half response from all the team. Difficult to to highlight any individual as it was a great team effort
Glad for Miski. He looks a lot more comfortable now after his debut performance

Halsall short term, KPP long term.
Also the option of a back rower there but hopefully can avoid that.

Yeah I understand, but that doesn't mean we don't state areas that we need to improve. We've dug ourselves out of a hole numerous times already, which in itself is great and shows belief and attitude. Needless to say that always won't be the case, and a bad start will cost us.
All that said, we were great for longer than we weren't today. Some great performances from players who needed to step up, Mago and Miski went very well IMO.

| Great to see some real line speed coming off our line in the first half. Turned the game around from Mago's first offload in our 1st set.
French MoM for me.
Also nice to show we're not a one man team.

| I was pretty concerned after the Huddersfield away game about French’s fitness but turns out a week on the ale has done him good!
Back to his best yesterday, have a look at the ground he covers to be in position to score off Marshall’s kick. Must have covered at least 50metres.
Brilliant to see

not to mention his double tackle also to deny Cas a try, the whole team looked up for it in the second half

| That one by the corner flag where he and Marshall held up the Cas player (Trueman?)?
Looked a try for all money, top effort. French looked like he was really enjoying himself out there.

| I was watching it in a busy pub so didn’t have the best of watches but from what I did see I thought Bibby had a good game.
I thought the pass from French was forward that was called forward and it looked like the pass by Faz (I think) to Miski for his try was forward.
Has all the hallmarks of a Challenge Cup hangover performance up until the sin binning and then we woke up.
Field started to find his way in the game as it went on will be interesting to see if he gets more time there moving forward.
Disappointed with French’s tackle attempt for the second try I think it was.
As others have said bench changed the game which is exactly what you need them to do. Mago in particular had a great impact.
The shapes we are running and the trust the players have for each other is clear to see when players are throwing passes into spaces without looking but having faith in the systems they work on, on the training pitch.

| Slow start, which was to be expected in this instance, but the 2nd half was all class. Showed real desire and application to register 32 unanswered points! Smith controlled the performance. He was very vocal for a young half and it's clear he's found his feet within the team. Seemed to be calling all the shots. French showed how good he can be at fullback. He chimes into the line as well as any fullback out there and could have set Marshall up with a hat trick of try assists had it not been for the (slightly) forward pass. Forwards just excellent. Got on top of the Cas pack in that 2nd half and were making metres for fun as the stats show.
Hard to pick standouts as everyone was good in that 2nd half. Not a weak performance among them. Perhaps the 'fringe' players who haven't been getting much game time should take the plaudits as they, to a man, slotted in seamlessly.
