What do we think the chances are of any £10 tickets being left after the season ticket holders have had their turn?

Pretty good, I'd have thought, bearing in mind that they already have their own ticket.

They say they want season ticket holders to bring friends, family etc to cheer the lads to victory and then give them first refusal on 4,000 tickets which 1,000 of them are in the North stand with all the away fans

I was hoping that the same deal as last year would have been in place for this season. Does anyone have any idea why it’s not be carried on?

4k/5k of £10 tickets will obviously swell the crowd numbers over 20K but I don’t think it will be a complete sell out without all the tickets being £10.

Should be a cracking atmosphere for this game with a capacity 25k crowd.

300 fans from Wigan.
1683 friends and family of the 17 Warrington players.
1 Friend/Family each for the Wigan 17.

Plus they're going to beat us no problem but it's not being cocky, just confident!

He's not wrong though is he? If wigan fans on a predictions thread predict a win it's because we're being cocky, arrogant etc by opposite.. Same can't be for Wire though can it when Wire fans predict a win, it's "confident" blah blah. I guess too many opposite fans still have a chip on their shoulder because Wigan are back up challenging the big boys again.

Just for clarification Warrington have been allocated the North Stand for the game. The first 1000 tickets in the North Stand (as with all others) will be at the reduced rate. These are being sold by the Warrington club to their supporters. I believe Warrington will offer them to their season ticket holders first but this is not yet confirmed. They will decide the crieria for allocation of the cheaper tickets to their fans.

It should be great event and I know we always say book early for the best seats but this time more than ever that will be the case.

These marketing guys at Wigan are something else, they really are!

What has annoyed me for a while now is that the RFL couldn't market the England/Australia Four Nations match at Wigan to a sell out.
They should have let the Wigan marketing team get their hands on the event. They'd have had it sold out long before the fixture took place.

See the RFL are now to hire a marketing exec. Not before time too!

Well said, the RFL annoy me with internationals. Hudds a few years ago, spur of the moment. The only tickets I could get were over £40 but a Leeds fan had a spare and let me have a similar priced ticket for £15 next to his. Seemed half empty and the ticket was for the bottom corner of the main stand, not great. GB V Aus at Wembley in 90, went on school trip £5 a ticket. Crowd was huge and services full of similar
Coaches. Who decided to rip us off and also to play games in Watford and the like? Idiots!

With no money, and two of the genius ideas to promote being clubcall and a dying magic weekend. I cant see many top line marketing people applying.

slightly OT, but England v France at LSV tickets are a tenner for advance tix and a fiver for concessions so the RFL are on the right track!
