They are really pushing the 'can play at six' angle, I wouldn't be too surprised to see him there a fair few games this season.
Should be a very good signing though, and I hope this silences the 'stingy IL running the club on a shoestring budget' brigade
And the fact that we haven't lost Goulding (at least not permanently...) too shows that IL has a real commitment to developing youth
Who are we likely to see going out on loan for the rest of the season? Goulding and Phelps with Tim Smith released?
Also to what extent does this signing show that maybe IL is considering offering Noble a new contract beyond the end of this season? Or do we think this is more IL's signing than Noble's?

"Tony Smith has again reconfirmed that only players fully committed to Warrington Wolves are wanted at the club."
And before you start banging on about him wanting to join Wigan the player has been openly touting for a NRL contract for next season. And the Mathers thing is a bit irrelevant it is all about the £100k and letting a player go who didn't want to be at the club since Smith joined and probably well before.
He is a very good player though when he can be bothered and is properly motivated. |
