I can't work out whether some of the posts on here are taking the mickey or showing genuine respect towards Cas  . Poor wigan with 4 players out and one of the biggest squads in the league...

On the plus side 9 of the 19 are homegrown players -Daryl Clark (1icon_cool.gif, Oliver Holmes (1icon_cool.gif, Adam Milner (19), Joe Arundel (20), Greg Eden (20), Nathan Massey (21), Richard Owen (21) Charlie Martin (1icon_cool.gif John Davies (20).
In fact thats about the only plus side I can see.
10 first teamers out and we've had to resort to drafting in players who played in the 9's final last night - granted they probably wont play (and I hope they aren't part of the mauling that awaits us tonight as they look fantastic prospects and their confidence could take a battering!)

There's been a 75-0, albeit in the distant past now. I think Wigan's poor home form and inability to do things the easy way will keep the game close tonight, so I think Cas will come out of the game with plenty of praise from those watching at home. |

We have massively underperformed in previous matches with just 3 recognised props never mind just two thats where the worry comes from Wigan fans. If our pack underperforms it doesnt lay the platform for guys like Sam, Finch, Deacon and Leuluai to work the magic. No matter how good a half is they cant perform behind a soft pack. Even Thurston/Lockyer would struggle behind a beaten pack. |

Totally agree.
However I doubt Madge will go that way. I'll think we'll see Goulding in for Pat and Hock and Farrel coming onto the bench to replace Coley and Prescott, and that's it. |
