We're in a very good position with props, imo 3 are top class, international standard (Prescott, Mossop, Lima) with Lauaki, Flower, Dudson, Spencer and Crosby all coming in at some point and doing everything asked of them. We are not missing Fielden or Coley at all which is something I was a bit concerned about before the season started. Keep it going lads!

I wouldn't say he needs to stop offloading as that's part of his game which can be devastating to other teams at times.

Yes of course I would like to see him use his bonce more when then offload is obviously not on and for him to stick hold.

Flower raised a few eyebrows. I dont remember any issues with Dudson's signing.

damn.....that's 8 players mentioned above without Fielden, 2 starting props and 3 on the bench.....there is certainly competition for places and the slighlest drop in form due to fatigue will mean they are out and then have to fight to get back in

I think flowers going to find it hard to get back into the team at this rate. Wane seems to rste him highly though. Dudson is a beast he's going to have a great career.

I agree with this, most seemed positive about the prospect of dudson, flower was a little surprising. And I would say that so far flower has been plensently surprising, although I think he will struggle to get back in the team as he is propably are weakest forward (although he offers versatility) and dudson is looking more and more impressive as time goes by.

I am optimistic about dudson, and think he could turn out into a real bargin buy.

With all props fit I think we'll be looking at Prescott, Lima, Mossop and Lauaki being our first choice 4. After that I would have thought Flower was a clear 5th ranked and pushing 4th before Easter but Dudson must be pushing him close now. Add in Spencer and Crosby and we're well covered.

I'd have Dudson as the 4th choice prop and have Eric take Tusons place.

I highly doubt Fielden will be here next season to be honest. As you say it would have to be on a reduced contract, and if thats the case he'd be able to get that over Yorkshire way. I wouldn't be suprised if he went back to Bradford.

It would be sensational to have him in a group of 4 alongside Mossop, Lima and Prescott but sadly it's not to be. We'll be fine though with the options we have.

We just need to ensure now we use the wages of 2 players in Fielden and Roberts who've basically been expensive cheerleaders for 2 years to find the best possible replacements for Carmont and Leuluai we can.

Get a quality centre and halfback in next year and this team can go on another level IMO. The forwards are set up for 5+ years now.

Dudson seems a bit more level headed, there's no thrashing to get to his feet or battling with his opposite number, he does his job (well) gets to his feet and plays the ball. Which is one area that Fielden would let himself down in, making errors, he'd be too per-occupied in an him vs me battle.

But why should he be?, does he get in because of who he is or his name, sorry but if he hasn't earned the right to play then why should somebody who has given there best all season move aside for a once great player, if he doesn't earn a place then he don't play imo, there's no place for sentimentality and has been's in RL

if his name was Stu "Ah Van" Fielden he would be in the team even if he was on crutches.........Wane will pick players on merit...... he is 9th choice if he was fit tomorrow
