Would not want him anywhere near any club as a coach, he has shown himself to have the brain power of a gnat and the self control to match.

Bad person to have around the sport off the field in my opinion, he may have performed well on the field but off the field he is not the kind of person I would want anywhere near up and coming players.

Terrific player that will be remembered for off the field stuff, just as much as his considerable on field achievements. Could have been remembered by[size=150 all [/sizefans as one of the best of his generation, but will only be regarded as such by saints fans.... Sad really.

Remember this guy may be a bad influence but if hes matured then the excellent rugby brain (that noone can deny he has) will make him one hell of a coach. I already believe he had things to do with, or attended, Edge Hill University while he was a Saints player so you never know if hes matured he will prove you all wrong I reckon. Still wouldnt want him anywhere near Wigan right now until he proves he has but I suppose he has to be given the chance to prove it. I know the frustration there of wanting a better job but being told you need experience. Where the hell are you going to get experience if noone will take the chance? Could be a shrewd move by Salford.

Not convinced I would have him as a coach, but you never know, he may have grown up.

Remember him being the future of Wigan when he was younger, had all the talent, but ended up being swapped for a prop.
Certainly put egg on our faces for many a year afterwards. Still have happy memories of him playing for Wigan, but not so happy ones when he was at Stains.
Good luck for his retirement, still haven't finished colouring in the pages of his autobiography.
He may well be a role model for Salford, especially with those involved in rioting and Gypos.
