Four forwards on the bench because I feel were going to have to grind it out in the forwards because of the weather.
I've not gone with Deacon has he hasn't played for a while plus he's poor in defense and Saints would target him big time. I've not picked feka either because of his time out of the side.

It looks like Phelps' injury might be more serious than first thought, otherwise I'm pretty sure he'd be in that side. Does it really take this long to recover from a dead leg?
Feka and Farrell will probably miss out, unless Coley isn't deemed fit enough to play in which case one of those two will take his place.
Deacon could make the bench, mainly because with Tomkins picking up a knock and Riddell out Maguire may feel we need a bit of cover and some creativity.

That's about as good a side as I think we could put out under these circs.

I can see McIlorum having a stormer for us if he starts.

I know Riddell is a loss, but Micky's furiousity will help in the first 10 mins.

I once asked a player who was the hardest he'd ever played against/with and he said McIlroum is one horrible, hard little b*****d to play against.

Even with the injuries in both camps they look like two decent line-ups to me, cant wait !!!

i really like micky mac but he looked know were near ready for super league last week , i cant remember who said he looked like he needed a few weeks in under 20 s it might of been rogues the other week ,but he defo did nt look upto to speed ,

I'm inclined to agree, but it was his first game back in the senior squad so I'm willing to give him the benefit of the doubt. Either way of all the players who could miss out through injury it looks as though we'll miss piggy the most, and I never felt I'd say that.

Coley playing is the big one for me! Awesome!

Still trying to convince my friends of that. He's not the best in the business, but he's a good player. It's noticeable when he's not on the field.

There's a few (not many) of us on here who have been trying to educate the masses of non believers for over a year how good a player Piggy is.

It was his fitness that let him down last year, you can't deny that.

He has outplayed every hooker he has played against this year though.

Hoping that Coley and Sam are both fit enough, but its a shame to be missing Riddell!

I'd like to see Feka come back in but, i think Deacon will be required to cover for Leuluai/McIlorum.

looking for an omen and we actually beat warrington without phelps and riddell so maybe we could do the double and beat saints without the pair aswell. For me we need to keep tommy and sam at 6 and 7, against warrington we looked more threatening when we had deacs at 9 so thats the way i would go, id go with.

A deal leg can take a few weeks to heal. hope we get phelps back soon. I think feka might get a run out this week. Its going to be won and lost in the forward battle this one. Hope feka comes back to make his mark

And the reason you're not getting too far is because you seem to think he is better than he is (awful grammar but you get the point). Best at Wigan certainly but that doesn't take much. Overall I'm happy with him now but he's certainly not exceptional. His biggest asset up to now has been staying fit (unlike Buderus, who is plainly in a different league in terms of ability but has been dogged by injuries). Let's hope he's back soon before Micky Mac proves he is in fact dispensible!
