your all not missing much, it's not a patch on Cardiff for a night out. Bars half empty as they won't let groups in. And who's stupid idea was it to agree to this tag tournament

We're in Milton Keynes, so if you use the M1, you're almost passing the door.

I had a top weekend spent most of it blasted truth be told but was very annoyed at the lack of groups being allowed into bars, Murrayfield was poor for getting served given the lack of bars within the ground.


Thought Edinburgh was a good city but truth be told much prefer Cardiff as a venue.

Good to bump into a few off here even though i only have very sketchy memories of any of the encounters.

Awesome weekend. The late-night chantathon with the Saints/Leeds/Warrington fans in the Seton Sands bar last night was a particular fun experience. Especially when the fat security guy went running about the place telling everyone to put their drinks in plastic beakers as though we were football thugs about to tear into eachother

The weekend was ace, but mainly due to the result, the magic weekend itsself was not brilliant.

Maybe it's because we used to have a flat there and I spent many a Saturday morning nursing a hangover in Princes St Gardens with a bottle of Irn Bru and the papers, but I think Edinburgh is 100 times better than Cardiff in every aspect. Our 100% record at Murrayfield also probably helps.

Highlight of the weekend for me was the lower section of the East Stand rockin in the 2nd half, especially when Terry O'Connor came in as well.

Our group was 12 in size and mixed in sex. And we struggling to get in a few bars over the weekend, most of the bars we fairly empty and they still would not let people in.

We headed down to Haymarket before Saturdays game and hoped that the bars/pubs would be more relaxed closer to the ground but it didnt seem that way. They stopped letting people in as they kept saying they can only have the pub 70% full on game days.

After the game, we ended up just going to one pub in Murrayfield as word was that most pubs would not let you in with your team shirts on.

Overall Cardiff is a much better option, you can drink in groups, you can drink outside (which you cannot to in edinburgh) and the ground right slap bang in the centre of the city.

Edinburgh was good but to be honest I prefer Cardiff
