Very true, giving Joel that option to run all across the line is a formidable thought. Size, Power and Speed!

Joel Tomkins has played there before and done an excellent job. However, that was many seasons ago and now he is a completely different player. Much more power and speed. He is probably the in-form back row forward in the league and for that reason I would leave him there where he is most potent.

Liam Farrell has done an excellent job filling in for Lockers before and I believe he played there at Wakefield? He's stocky, strong and works like a trojan in defence. I'd give him a shot there.

Rumours on the other forum is that Lockers wont play on Sunday and is out for three weeks.

he may give away pens, but he obviously does a lot right or he wouldnt get in the top of the table side. he also wouldnt have played SOO and for Aus. he is clearly a net gain for the team, or someone else would be in there.

It wasn't "many seasons ago". It was 2008 when he did a great job deputising for Lockers when Lockers only managed 15 appearances due to injury.



If we had Hansen and Mossop fit it would be a no-brainer to play JT at 13. But we don't so it's whether or not we need him in the back row more than at 13 but this is IMO not because Lockers is missing but because we are light in the 2nd row if he moves.

This is one injury too many to easily cope with.

Although I don't know where this concept of Bails as a penalty machine comes from...9 pens conceded in 15 games is a lot better than most players, at Wigan or anywhere else.

I count that as 3, Add into that Mossop & O'Carroll though not given 1-17 numbers had played more games than the players playing in their place prior to them getting injured. I think we can safely say thats 5 first teamers out. Deacon is a fringe player and mainly for backup.
