i agree pal wigan fans would of been the first ones on the wire or saints boards had we beat them but when we lose people think cant take it

these boards are about banter, opinion, discussion and alot of the time for me a way to pass 10mins in work like you said there are other boards out there if people are not satisfied and mods do remove anything that goes to far

theres any of half a dozen if you look around the net.

theres nothing wrong with other fans coming on here imo.
im sure the mods can tell the difference between banter and abuse , and take the appropriate action.

unfortunately , there are other boards on RLFans wher you get savaged for having the audacity to post on em. You get abused , and the mods take the side of the "home" fans.

thankfully this board has fair and unbiased mods, which is probably why its the best

BK's comments weren't aimed at all non Wigan fans on here but at the number of them that are hell bent on mischief. There are far too many posters on here who offer zero to any debate and are here simply to take the p1$$.

Also, the argument that they are only on here as a result of us posting on their sites is ludicrous. They are on here because they are anti-Wigan, pure and simple and, whilst I don't want to be telling Mods what to do, I thought this site was primarily here for those of us that actually support the club, secondarily for those from other clubs that wished to actually participate in the debate.

I find the attitude of " ah well, we won loads of titles years back, so let them come on here and laugh at our expense" lamentable. But, I suppose it's a free world. ATEOTD all I can do is leave the site permanently or continue sighing heavily as I wade through oceans of tripe looking for the occasional worthwhile post.

Actually that one is a serious point.

On the Wire site we get plenty of Wigan posters who come on with a patronising 'poor little Wire' kind of attitude, and that does encourage people to then come on here in response when something goes against you.

Not my style, but it can't be ignored as a reason.

It's not your style, neither is it mine. However, I am willing to bet that any Wigan posters causing mischief on your site are dealt with, rather than tolerated as on here.

Wolfette actually banned me a while ago when she got hold of the wrong end of the stick! Actually, she recently gave an example of how it should be done. She saw a thread on here that she disagreed with but instead of jumping in she set up a thread on the Wolves board about it - isn't that the best way forward?

I actually think that's more likely to encourage people who wouldn't normally post on this board to do so.

There will always be opinions which don't run parallel to your own, but it's very easy to ignore. If someone is obviously just trying to annoy and cause mischief, just don't give them the time of day.

On any of the club boards there'll always be more of the native fans talking pap than the oppo anyway. There are some right loons over on theentertainers (sic) and redvee - but the likes of Rogues raises some interesting points and is very welcome. There are of course others but hey, who cares?

You see, what normally happens is, non wigan fan gives an opinion. Insecure wigan fan replys to said opinion nastily, then when non wigan fan gives some back they get banned. Ive been banned so many time from here, but thankfully, I know how to get around an ipban so I can still post.

Maybe if the wigan fans werent so insecure and dont like a bad word being said about their club then things wouldnt escalate, after all, wigan fans do the same on other boards.
